“The air con wasn't working, and I approached the staff and was told that they can't do anything. No staff was available to even look at the reason why the air con wasn't working. It could have simply been a tripped circuit breaker, but no one was even available to check. I had driven the whole day and was extremely tired by the time I reached the property and could not sleep the whole night. I woke up terribly tired after whatever sleep I could get during the night. “The property is in a stunning location right on the lake. The staff were more than helpful - young, stepped up to help at registration, bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. The room was very comfortable (fab shower!!) the restaurant and bar was amazing. Will definitely return it was a great find👏”

“Upon arrival at the motel we were concerned , it is currently undergoing major reconstruction and renovation, this is not mentioned in the motels site listing on Expedia. It looks like a demolition site and we were not even sure if we had the right place. Upon finding the office a friendly enough gentleman checked us in and sort of apologised for the state of the place. Our room in the remaining block of units was clean and tidy, the only real issue being the tv not working, which turned out……

“The room was not attended to unless requested which we didn't know. WiFi and reception for phones was poor.”

“整體環境可以，冷氣有冷，房乾淨，淋浴廁所很空間大，共用冰箱跟微波爐及熱水壺都有提供。唯獨隔音效果不佳，廁所使用淋浴時，水管聲音很大，連房間都聽得到，非常吵。”

“Located at side of Lake Macquarie. Must put Marks Point if you set GPS. The same highway number led us to a place 40 mins far away. Owner of motel is a friendly lady and give us valuable info of where to explore and eat. Will stay there again for future visits. Restaurant at Gunyah Hotel nearby is very good too.”

“Cockroach in bathroom in the middle of the night. Awful smell from the bathroom drain that we ended up putting small towels over it to stop the smell. Mould spores and mould on curtains in lounge room. They put us in a room directly across from the golf club and restaurant. From 4.30am very loud noises and people congregating behind my bedroom window talking loudly. Told reception who couldn’t care less and that’s it’s a golf resort so what do you expect. Still they are happy to take your $400……
