「We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter...

「We were heading north on a ten day tent camping trip and needed a place to stay for a night where the loaded down truck would be safe over night. So glad we found this place. My 10 year old son and I very much enjoyed the stay and it is as expected, super cool. Staying in a hobbit hole has now been checked of the old bucket list. 「The original cabin we were assigned had some power outlet problems in one bedroom, and the hostess immediately moved us to another cabin - with great apologies. The cabins were well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. But there was a funk about it that included dated decor and furniture, with plenty of reminders about Bigfoot. 」

「There's so much good to say about our stay. The accommodations were gorgeous, and so much thought was put into every detail of the room, it was just gorgeous. The property itself was beautiful, and a nice place to hike. Lastly, the breakfast was perfect. They served rustic sheet pancakes which were fluffy and delicious with fruit baked into them. On the side was some honeydew melon and a scramble of polish sausage, onion and apple. Absolutely delicious.」
