“The website showed lovely pics of the property. There was no mention of any renovations ongoing. The entire lobby and downstairs area was in shambles. There was no breakfast. It was a very disappointing stay. We had paid prior to arrival and were exhausted or we would have left the property.”

“Beautiful location and rooms, only issue was the limited hours of on hand staff, but the seclusion was great and we will definitely go again.”

“I chose this stay because it was rated fairly decent on Expedia. Upon arriving I was slightly disappointed. It felt old and dirty, it wasn't actually dirty but details matter and it appears that maybe there isn't money to keep up on updating the place. Everything felt and smelled as if it has been there for a few yrs. They didn't get in a hurry to clean up plaster from a leaking ceiling repair nor did the repair appear to be done by a professional. Tile in the elevator looked to have been……

“Could use some upgrades and cleaning of AC units and better towels. Other than that okay place to stay.”

“There was a plumbing issue, but they dealt with it acceptably. You get what you pay for...We got a reasonably clean night's stay. It will do.”

“For the price I paid for a room for two nights I was disappointed. Shower tub was rusted pretty bad and the rim caulk was badly molded. One of the lights in the bathroom was out. A trim piece on the toilet bolt was broken off. Rouches were crawling on the cabinet by the coffee maker. Reported light and roach issue to the desk clerk she was Veronica and said a maintenance man would go to the room to correct. When we came back the light bulb had been replaced but with a bulb of different……

“This place is a DUMP! I didn’t have hot water. They said, “oh old pipes, let it run for a while.” After 30 mins waiting, I took cold showers all weekend. Had to ask for someone to cover the window. No window covering when I got there. Had to go over a cub to get to park in front of my room. Beds were terrible with scratch sheets. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel. Say away!!!”

“Unique property! Most comfortable bed! I do not like these surveys!!!”

“We absolutely loved this property! We came up for a wedding in the area thinking we would have more time to enjoy it. So we will definitely have to come back! Charles was amazing! He checked on us frequently making sure we didnt need anything. We finally had some free time Monday morning si he took us out on his boat and gave us a tour of the lake. We so enjoyed it. I cannot wait till we can come back!”

“I had to give a one star review as zero wasn’t possible. One of the worst experiences I’ve had in all my years of booking on Expedia and other stays - Period!!”

“It is a perfect little get away. Very peaceful, close to town. It has a big nice tub to relax in. I highly recommend this place. I definitely will go back.”

“The location near the lake and other attractions is great. The area has seen better days though. I realize the keeping old campers maintained is difficult and there are always issues. However, I think the upkeep could be a little better. All the blinds were either bent or broken preventing them from working properly, the bathroom was dirty, the screen door was torn, and there was no way to lock the camper from the outside to secure our belongings. Also, the pictures did not match the camper that……

“Great new build. Enjoy the secluded private spot with the bonus pond with small bass. Place was very clean and we had a great time.”
