Bahia Vista beach resort near by the playa panama and playa hermosa , you can walk along the path to playa panama , we lodged at second floor, the room has beautiful beach view and mountain view , It's really cozy and relax here.

Beautiful property. The people are amazing there and very hospitable. The rooms are large and traditional costarican rooms. The beach access is steep, but the beach is beautiful. Lovely fish to see while snorkeling. Would stay again.

This property needs major work. Staff very friendly but no internet, wifi in the rooms. Air conditioner was to small for the room. Patio door the latch was broken. At one time this was a beautiful property but over time has been neglected. Apparently the owner lives in Texas and has let his properties really be neglected.

I do not recommend this property.

Our room what extremely hot, 81 degrees. Two towels provided for a family of four. No exaggeration there were spiders and ants everywhere, coming out of electrical sockets and wall trim. Shower knobs broken. No soap, no wash clothes, no paper towels

Not 4 stars and horrible place to stay

Extremely disappointing stay. Although this hotel claims to be 4 stars, the amenities were barely 2 stars. The cold water in the kitchen didn’t work at all, and there was no hot water in the bathroom faucet. The faucet itself was loose and wobbly, with broken plugs in the bathroom and kitchen . The shower was absolutely filthy—rusty and unpleasant to use. To top it all off, the bed had the cheapest mattress that made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep, squeaky bed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a decent standard of accommodation.

Bonita propiedad falta mantenimiento

El lugar es un hotel con unidades de condominio. Tiene vista al mar y es muy tranquilo y la propiedad como tal tiene mucho potencial y es bonita.. No obstante al parecer el lugar estuvo cerrado por un tiempo y están reabriendo. Requiere pintura en techos y cielo razo así como mayor atención a los detalles en la limpieza. Con el mantenimiento adecuado podría ser un excelente lugar. Como un lugar para dormir una noche pasa, pero no espere ver lujos, es básico y en nuestro caso no había jabón en la habitación.

My only complaint is that there is no internet in the rooms, there is no hot water, and the bathroom and kitchen are dirty. The people who work there are very friendly.

No volvería

No funciona el teléfono que brindan para información y nunca respondieron el mensaje de la plataforma. No entregan paños. No todas las habitaciones tienen parqueo por lo que hay que dejarlo afuera de la habitación peligrando ser golpeado. No hay rotulación de nada. En la piscina no se puede hacer ruido ya que queda al lado de la recepción e indican que están trabajando. Otros huéspedes nos comentaron que el inodoro no funcionaba y no les resolvieron En general la limpieza del baño estaba descuidada La ducha fatal y nunca salió agua caliente.

The property is a good value for the money. They are obviously working on bringing up the maintenance, security, and general condition of the property, but their brand new management is dedicated and hospitable. If you are not too picky, you can have a good stay right next to 2 beautiful beaches (with a kitchen) at a great value!

The staff was helpful and friendly but didn’t have the key for us, we had to ask for towels and sheets which were stained and torn when we finally retrieved them ourselves in the rain. The shower was filthy and stained, I don’t think it could have appeared clean even if scrubbed. There was a gap in the wooden front door and the glass slider wouldn’t close completely, gapped between panels- also if tugged on, it would come away from the door frame- could have been broken easily to gain entry. There was giant ants crawling all over. The walls and window covers were faded and stained - the whole place seemed unclean and was uncomfortable to be in.

So disappointed! We arrived after dark. Check in was quick but the room we were given was so disgusting. Lights falling out the ceiling, fridge didn't keep items cold, the toilet didn't flush, the ac filters were so dirty and clogged, the cobwebs in the windows, dirty drawers in the kitchen, just to name a few. We survived the night and asked for a new room. The new room was mariginally better but the moldy grounds left in the coffee pot pushed me over the edge. We booked 3 nights but left after 2. This place has the potential but the owners need to invest in repairs and maintenance.

Check in was easy. Pool was nice. Staff was attentive with minimal resources. The room was substandard; beds, cooking utensils, lights and fans not working, dirty old fridge, air conditioning that could not keep up with the heat, no decking furniture ( we had to ask), bathroom had missing tiles, screen not secured and was disgusting We had payed for 5 nights and left after the second night even though it was not- refundable by the Expedia. To top it off our neighbors who were local paid 1/4 of the price which we were charge by Expedia. They actually laughed at us. We believe Expedia mislead us or they were mislead. We use Expedia regularly and did not anticipate they would lead us that way according to the posting. Stay away!!

Its nice up on the hill but secluded, they had NO fresh water. NO AC , and the restaurant was closed so NO food. The nearest place was a $ 50 usd ride away . AND they double charged us.
