Remarks on High Pointe 3332

We love everything about High Pointe 3332! The pool is fabulous, and the beach is the most beautiful place we've been to! We spent a few evenings at Crabby Steve's with their friendly staff and good food, while enjoying the beautiful sunsets. We experienced High Pointe last November when the weather was cold and rainy. We spent a lot of time indoors enjoying our meals, relaxing and visiting the local sites. It is a totally different place during the summer months with crowds of people everywhere. We love this area with the specialty shops and restaurants, and can't wait till our next trip! Thank you!

Great view/Great location!

The unit at High Pointe was clean, bright, and had a beautiful view over the pool to see some of the Gulf. You could hear the waves crashing onto shore. We walked down the ramp to the white beach, sometimes stopping at Crabby Steve's on the property for lunch or drinks, or to watch the sunset. Shops and restaurants of all types are within walking distance. It's a perfect location for walking and biking!

Only issue we had was the TV in the main living area was not working and the TV in the main bedroom had no remote. Informed the guest services but never heard back

Pool Equipment VERY LOUD

I have never left a bad review before now. Normally, I think it’s a crappy thing to. Most issues can be taken care of with a conversation with whoever is in charge at a business. But I’m not sure how this issue could have been resolved so I’m writing this as a heads up to anyone considering renting this condo. The pool equipment is right outside this building next to the pool and It is VERY LOUD. I would Not have rented this condo if I had been aware of this problem. I could not sit out on the balcony without ear plugs. Inside the unit was not as bad but if you are sensitive to noise there was a constant hum inside the condo. The location and cleanliness was great but anyone looking at this unit needs to be aware of the noise issue before you rent it.

Old unit, needs major attention and upgrades

Our group was 5 women who stayed 6/2023. We will never choose this unit again and would not recommend it to others. Pros: Convenient location, easy, quick beach access. Resort pool is beautiful, clean, not crowded. Having stayed at HP before, but in a different unit, I can say 3332 is subpar. Cons: 1. The thermostat had a note saying it could not be lowered below 70 degrees because it would freeze up the unit. We were all hot at night and wished we could’ve turned it down to at least 68 to sleep. Either the a/c needs repairing/ replacing or the owner doesn’t want to pay the utility bill. Either way, it’s unacceptable. In addition, the ceiling fans, even set on high, turned very slowly and made no wind to help. 2. The master bath had a garden tub/ shower combo, and the drain was so clogged, it didn’t drain at all. We had standing water a few inches deep the next morning. We contacted maintenance who came the next day to clear it out. 3. In the bunk bed room, there was very visible water damage on half of the walls and what appeared to be black mold on the ceiling. 4. The bathrooms have very dim, poor lighting. 5. The bunk beds are not sturdy and they shake. There is a lack of outlets in the room. A bedside lamp with USB/C plugs and outlets is needed as well as a smart TV. The TV never got a signal and was useless. 6. Balcony overlooks pool pumps and is very loud. 7.Ice maker made very little ice. 8. Dust pan is needed to sweep up sand. 9.Keurig would’ve been nice to have.

Vacation on 30 A

Place was clean, location good but unit was not acceptable. The TV’s were old & you could not find cable channels. No sports channels , no cable guides - no real cable. Furnishings outdated. This unit needs to be updated - would not recommend to others.

Great location! Unit needs updating

Location is amazing! Pool was so fun for the kids and Crabby Steve’s is so convenient. Only critique is this unit needs to be updated. Appliances, decor etc quite dated, but it was clean! Has a big peek-a-boo ocean view from the large balcony. Directly across from all the shopping and restaurants and right on the beach so you can’t beat the location.

Family spring break

Very nice week-long stay for our family spring break. Pool area is nice and clean, short and easy trip down the stairs to the beach. Enjoyed using the bikes and beach chairs/umbrella, all provided with the rental. Great location to cross the street for ice cream or a drink.

Wonderful stay!

Long story short, Vacasa saved our family vacation and worked with us step by step to get us into this awesome property on extremely short notice. We arrived to a very clean, neat and tidy, spacious, inviting and colorful, and most importantly COOL condo. The condo overlooks the pool and does have a bit of an ocean view. The convenience from the condo to the pool and beach was excellent. Our family used necessary items provided to cook in the kitchen and do a bit of laundry. Overall, this was such a comfortable stay and we will likely be back! One thing I will also note is that at this property we seemed to have prime beach access. The long stretch of beach the property sits on was spacious and not crowded—a major plus for our family. We also appreciated the restaurant right on the property/beach and easy access to restrooms from the beach as well.
