Needs some Love
The Villa location is at the very back of edge water and is 0.5 miles from the beach- a nice 5-10 minute walk. You are close to a main road so you will have lots of traffic noise. There’s a pond off the back patio and the kids enjoyed watching the turtles and the birds. The “resort” itself is beautiful and well kept.
The Villa
The condition of the villa was disappointing. The carpet is stained and falling apart at the door frames . We didn’t even want to get on the carpet to play with the kids. There’s exposed nails in the first bedroom where the carpet ends that we kept stepping on. The chair on the first bedroom porch was broken. The bathroom floors had accumulated dirt along the edge of the wall, 2 out of 3 sliding screen doors are off their tracks, broken cabinetry in main master bath, the living room tv is going out. There is nothing supplied with this vrbo, which is accurate to the description, but was disappointing to have to buy beach towels, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, we even purchased some more kitchen hand towels and dish wash cloth as only one kitchen towel was provided. There wasn’t any butcher knives to cook with or scissors on the Villa, you’re using steak knives for everything. The fridge had standing water puddled in the bottom of it that we called maintenance for. The ice maker throws ice all over the freezer rather than dumping it in the ice bin. Could be such a cute little villa with some TLC.
