  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Family Getaway 2023

We love the location of this home. We love the 2 refrigerators, big open sitting area and large dining table. Its great that everyone has a bedroom. 3 bathrooms in the main house.

Very large place

Right on the beach. Very clean. Some of the bedrooms and bathrooms were small but still very nice. Lots of parking and a carport (we used as a covered patio). Definitely will stay again.

Location!

The location is perfect. The area is chill and not overcrowded. The home is cozy and clean. Short stroll to the beach. Might look at replacing patio table and there’s a strange smell in the bathroom down the hall with the 2 bedrooms.

Disappointing

The house and location and beach are all amazing. Unfortunately the place was just nasty and one of the bed box spring was literally broken in two. I communicated with management and sent multiple pictures within an hour of checking in. They were very apologetic and said they were sending someone out to clean but no one came. And I got no response when I asked where we could find pillowcases after we found about half the pillows without them when we went to bed. I also sent a detailed message upon leaving the house expressing our disappointment with the gross conditions we found and never received any response back. I rent 3-5 times a year and I’ve had mostly wonderful experiences -And have never ever written a bad review. but this house was unreal, And literally nothing was done to solve any of the problems. And it is very unfortunate because everything else about it was perfect for our large family. Obviously we just got a bad cleaning crew that day but not doing anything about it other than saying sorry was very disappointing.

Not recommended

Cons: The house wasn’t cleaned properly. Floors dirty, dead bed bugs found in bedding and when we swept. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, rooms and bathrooms small. The men in our group ended up using the outdoor shower so they could actually move around. When reported to management we received a small refund (less than the cleaning fees). I would have expected a bigger refund for found bed bugs to me this is a big deal. The back portion of the property that has the 6 beds, the bathroom you can barely stand it. We put our teenage boys in and they couldn’t stand up to use the bathroom. We personally replaced clogged air filter upstairs and has to reset the breaker multiple times. Pros: Great location. Would we stay here again? No

Pleasantly Surprised

Almost didn't choose this unit because the pics look like it is dated. But I am glad we did. It is an older styled house. But in a nice "homey" feel. But I do like to give honest feedback when I stay at places so here are the pros and cons. The CONS were not enough for us to call anyone or not want to stay in this unit again. Some of the beds were not comfortable. Some of the TV's didn't work. Bathrooms were small. Smoke alarm kept going off in one of the bedrooms every time we would take a shower. PROS: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Literally steps to the beach! Lovely sunroom and patio that you could see the beach. PLENTY of room for everyone to have their own rooms and bathrooms. Plenty of cookware and utensils. Enough parking for several. Felt quieter and less busy even though it was conveniently located. Had toys for kids to play with which was a nice touch! I would definitely stay again.
