  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Beach fun

Great location with a great view of beach. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Had a great stay! Beautiful property only negative was that pool was closed.

Love the property and Southern was easy to work with!

We are return guest to the Sterling Reef. We love this property and the condo was just as shown and described. Southern Vacation Rentals is for sure the choice to book. They communicate well and have a stress free check in process. The only reason I gave 4 stars on overall, is because for 2 days we had to use the stairs only due to the elevators being out. Not terrible for the 3rd floor but not great to bring ice chest/chairs up and down. The elevators did get repaired during our stay. Other than that, perfect place for a great beach vacation!

Great Place!

We have stayed at this complex several times and love it. This was the first time at this condo. It was very clean. Just steps from the beach. Only cons...elevator very slow....staff was able to enter our condo to leave a blanket, even though we had the door deadbolted while we were out on the balcony. So, the deadbolt is useless if someone has your door code? Two ladies staying alone in a condo need the security of a deadbolt lock, especially when sleeping.

Family vacation

Very nice clean condo. I wish the heated pool was warmer. Our wrist bands wasn't in the room was able to get them without a issue.
