Absolutely Beautiful

My husband and I stayed the week of July 4th. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and very clean! Not one issue the whole week. Yes, the elevators were not the quickest but we could and did use the stairs. Bed was amazingly comfortable, everything was perfect!!!!

This condo 709 was the most amazing place , clean beautiful views, the management was very nice, this building altogether was amazing, close to everything, and ppl on the site was complaining about elevators, it’s 30 floors, it did great, I’ll be back 🥰

Amazing

Wife and I went for a few days and this condo was perfect. Clean, easy to park, load and unload. Quick elevator rides. Walked to Pier Park. Plenty of room at pools and on beach. The best thing was the beachside bedroom. Condo was excellent for us two, but easily would accommodate more. The balcony views are wonderful. Would highly suggest you consider this condo. You'll be glad you did.

This condo was spotless and perfect. The doors across the front of the living area and bedroom are like having the perfect suite on a luxury cruise ship. The bed is comfortable. The big screen tv’s are wonderful. The resort is very nice. It was just me and my husband. The bunk room would be perfect for two kids. There are two full size bathrooms and a washer and dryer. The beach chairs were very nice. They were set up and ready for us daily. All of that area down the beach where we were appeared to be gated. There was security on our property. Parking was easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Incredible

We were absolutely blown away with our condo. Plenty of room for us and both our children. Our 2 year old loved the balcony so much. Our bed was like a cloud, the view was breathtaking, we never wanted for a single thing for our 6 day stay. Our 10 year old loved the hot tub, the indoor pool, getting ice cream at the Flip Flops convenience store, and the arcade. We were so close to Pier Park. Tears were definitely shed when we had to leave. My son said when we come back we have to stay in this exact unit. Thank you for the memories that will last a lifetime.

Long waits

Everything was great but the very long wait time for the elevators. I mean we talking about 20 to 30 minutes. Just horrible on that! Oh, and the toilet was not working when we got there. Had to get them to fit it!!

I come from a home that I run the air in the 65-67 range. It would never do that here and if it could there were warnings that if you put it below 70 and any maintenance was required you were gonna pay for the unit freezing up. If you don't like it colder to sleep then this place is great

Condo and Beach is beautiful but….

Starting on a positive note, the condo and beach were excellent. The apartment was clean, and Tidewater offered resort guests free lounge chairs and umbrellas (first come, first served). However, there were significant issues with the elevators and security. The elevators were an absolute nightmare. Between 3-7 PM each day, security disables the call buttons and stations guards on the elevators to transport guests from the ground and second floors, leaving everyone else stranded. If you enjoy walking up and down stairs, you’re in luck. I recommend getting a condo on the second floor or lower. On two occasions, I heard an elevator attendant joke about or request tips for quicker service, and someone took them up on the offer. The security experience was also problematic. Upon arrival, I pulled up to the doors and walked to the second floor to retrieve my packet. A security guard demanded I return to my vehicle and go to the parking garage before retrieving my packet. Once in the garage, I provided my ID to check out a luggage cart. When I walked into the registration area with the cart, I was accused of stealing it and violating policies. Despite informing the gentleman twice that I had handed over my ID, they didn’t believe me until I pointed out its specific slot. Security stopped me several more times to ask for my room number. In closing, the condo itself was great. However, the property management has significant concerns.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was very clean and adequately comfortable. Lighting is horrible - fluorescent lights everywhere. Appreciated the provided PT, TP, dish soap, etc. Nice furniture on patio. Kitchen is very small - poorly designed by builder/remodeler. Very little counter space, silverware is in a small pantry closet b/c there is no space for a drawer big enough for silverware, etc. Minimal dishware. Appliances were brand new. The refrigerator is a little big for its space - bumps against counter upon opening. Ice maker made tons of ice! If you rent this unit anytime in the near future, do not buy coffee filters - there are at least 400 in the unit already! The slider doors are VERY heavy and do not open easily. Also, they are absolutely serious about the doors connecting to the thermostat. We found this out when ours malfunctioned. Service was onsite very quickly and the issue was immediately resolved. Unit has definitely been used. I describe it in good condition - a number of stains on furniture, bedding, and pillows. There are more pillows than necessary - especially on master bed. I had nowhere to put them all. Master bed could use a new topper - there were significant dips on each side during our stay. Towels were very comfortable. Everything you read about elevators at Tidewater is true - this unit is on 7th floor. That was do-able. I would not recommend staying higher than 7. If we were to return to PCB, we would first inquire about the state of construction. It was absolutely everywhere. We had planned on kids doing much walking, but that was limited due to construction. Close enough to walk to Pier Park, but no sidewalks. The Tidewater property is a bit run down - workout room smells horrible and equipment is very worn. Myrtle Beach is very similar to PCB, but condos are significantly less expensive. I left a message with management company a few weeks before our trip (about grocery delivery)... never got a call back.
