  • This is my own little 'pied à terre' in Paris... Totally renovated this Jan/Feb... New kitchen, new closet, freshly painted, floors varnished, etc..... ! Situated just behind the Picasso Museum... a 40-square-meter loft... wooden floors, unusually large bathroom (with bathtub!) with a wooden statue of Ganesh overlooking you; the place is full of charm... you are allowed to talk to the African paintings on the walls as well as native statues from Colombia and Mexico... the upright piano has been tuned this summer... The building is very quiet. The flat is on the 1st floor, a very short way up.

    New full kitchen, new bathroom, new paint, new electricity, new a lot of things...

    The place is very quiet and fresh. It has 'good vibes'... one of those places, for some odd reason, you just feel good there... That is what people tell me anyway...

    To situate the flat, you are 30 seconds away from the Picasso Museum... a minute away from the now famous rue de Bretagne.... I will not describe the neighbourhood, you must know it by now...

    Please note that there is no view... Do not expect to see the Eiffel Tower or God knows what other Paris monument; you will not.

    It is really ideal for a couple; it is a little nest... Its strong point: it has a heart... it's definitely not your usual anonymous rental flat... it's little funky, but very charming... that's what people tell me......

Paolo’s flat was the perfect home for our week in Paris. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood in La Marais, close to great restaurants and fun shops. The flat was just as pictured and Paolo was an excellent host. We would definitely stay here on future trips to Paris.

Apartment was as described, large studio in the heart of the Maria’s. Newly renovated, freshly painted and very clean. Lovely big, comfortable bed, easy to navigate washing machine and dryer, great little kitchen and a very welcome bathtub.Communication with Paolo was excellent with quick replies to any queries. This vrbo was perfect for us - location was wonderful with lots of restaurants and shops, and close proximity to metro. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and a very quiet place to come back to in the evening after a busy day! We loved it!

I loved everything about my stay. The location is fabulous and the host was wonderful. Paolo stayed in contact with me, everything was easy. The apartment was newly renovated, immaculate, with lots of storage space, fully stocked kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows and linens were lovely. I was traveling alone and felt very safe in the building. This space is perfect for a single traveler or a couple. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Paolo, it was an exceptional stay.

The perfect hideaway in Paris

I loved staying at this property! The Marais area of Paris and the Apt is just great, super clean and easy to check in .Everything that you would want is there for you to use from the kitchen, bathroom and the bedroom. Great little spot in the artist district

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there! What a beautiful city and tons of places just a short walk from the unit. Once we were used to the metro and buses getting anywhere was quite easy. Paolo was an excellent host and great communicator!

The apartment is located in Le Marais, one block from the Picasso Museum. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the owner provides helpful information to enhance your stay. It’s within easy walking distance to two metro lines which will get you to any place you may want to visit in the city. Many good restaurants nearby and within a ten minute walking radius of the apartment. The apartment feels must larger than the stated size and was a great place to relax after longs days of sightseeing.

Exceptional experience

Great and super easy rental experience. Excellent communications from the owner with emails to make sure we had and understood check in process. Nice overview document of neighborhood and amenities. Very quite and a great place to get a sound night sleep after walking all across Paris.

A hidden gem, in the fabulous Marais!

We were quite lucky to not only find this gem, but were supported by a kind and supportive host! The neighborhood is fabulous. It is a real lived in arrondissement, filled with absolutely everything you could imagine to make you feel like you are actually Parisian; not a tourist.

Simply wonderful. Our stay could not have been easier or better. Paolo is a very good host and communicator. We had no problems finding or getting into the apartment. We felt like we had our own slice of Paris. The apartment is quiet and has everything you need and is located next to cafes, restaurants and shops. We felt very safe and had a remarkable time. Returning and Getting To Know the Extraordinary Marais Better

This is a one of a kind apartment, everything and more than the high expectations that the photos and information conveyed to us when we were looking for a place to stay in the midst of the Marais. For a week we thoroughly enjoyed re-visiting old favourites and finding many more, helped greatly by Paolo's recommendations. Paolo's rental would be our first choice any time we return to central Paris.

Fantastic stay in le Marais

We loved our stay in Paolo’s Place. The apartment was exactly as in the pictures. It was quiet, warm and cosy even on a cold night. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Everything you need was provided and the place was spotless. The washer and dryer worked well. The location was fantastic. Lots of cafes and shops as soon as you step out of the building. Picasso museum is visible across the square. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.
