Beautiful building in great location for visiting the Louvre. Less than 10 minute walk! Staff was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We used the car service which was great because we would've gotten completely lost otherwise. Lots of little cafes and shops right near the hotel and the room was gorgeous. Would definitely stay again!

Front desk manned 24 hours. Staff friendly and helpful. Room is made up daily. We stayed on 5th floor in a nice large room. Elevator works well. Weather was cool so we didn't use the AC or heat. We didn't buy the breakfast. Location is great in the 1er arrondissement; walking distance from the Louvre and the Chatelet/Les Halles metro station. Lots of cafes nearby. Supermarket (G20) at rue Louvre intersection with rue Berger. Would stay again.

This hotel was a great option for what we needed. The room was exceptionally small. But, the location was great - close to the metro, very close to the Louvre and rue de Rivoli. The other thing we appreciated was that while close to the hustle and bustle, the hotel was on a quiet street. The staff was helpful and kind and if you don’t mind being in very close quarters, the hotel was a good option.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Location was excellent, right near the Louvre. The front desk staff were very helpful whenever we had a question. Also it had effective air conditioning, which we were so grateful for, as our visit coincided with a heat wave with temperatures in Paris in the lower to mid thirties. If you are looking for a small boutique type hotel, I would recommend this one.

Small, stylish hotel in brilliant location . Decor a bit different and nice contrast to upmarket but corporate chain hotels . Few minutes walk from Louvre . Ten minute walk to Chatelet les Halles for train to CDG airport . Reception staff friendly and helpful . Breakfast room has one big communal table and one table for 2 which would have felt a bit intimidating ( I’m not a morning person and like to have my coffee in silence !) but got there early and very quiet when I was there . Good selection of breakfast food ( nothing hot except toast and boiled egg ). Great bed and shower in room and good air con ( required as 33 C outside ). On side street opposite Banque de France . One small bar next door and lively bars and restaurants in nearby streets . All in all had a lovely stay and would go back .

What can I say other than OOH LA LA. As an American sometimes I know nothing, but I know this: the hotel red crayon is a nice place with a large bathtub and a sparkley shower. I appreciated the AC most of all as Paris was facing a sweltering heat wave during my visit (probably because I arrived, what can I say). I also enjoy the way the little fridge had DRINKS and the butterfly mirror was a NICE touch. I urge any American or even French person to stay at this red crayon…. U will not regret it 🇫🇷✨🪩

I came during August, when there’s not as many people around so the hotels are competitively priced. I wanted a place to stay where they had air condition, decent size, private bathroom. Everything else I could deal with, like how some European hotels are so tiny it’s hard to move around. While this room is small, it’s not so tiny you couldn’t get around the bed. The air condition was frosty good. In fact the room was so well insulated I barely used the ac even though it was hot outside. I had a city facing room which was nice with all that good natural light. The staff was helpful and kind. I needed a desk and they had a decent sized one once I cleared off the coffee bar and extras. I slept well. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and hot with decent water pressure. I could hear some noise from the hall but I’m not bothered by the sound of voices or closing doors.
