Great cozy place

3 adults were very comfortable. Good amenities, amazing location. Great communication. We would stay there again. If you are gluten free make sure you go to Copains around the corner.

Location

I love the location of the flat, very central to everything. The management gave VERY detailed instructions on access to the apartment, it made it very easy, The flat is typically tiny, perfect for one or two people. There is a mezzanine to the bed with somewhat steep stairs, fine for me but maybe not for everyone. All in all I would stay there again.

Paris apartment

Good location, very central. However, the apartment was overall a little tired and would benefit from some improvements. I raised concerns on arrival. I was told that a maintenance person would visit on second day but we didn’t want someone entering while we were out, and there was nothing urgent to to rectify with a quick fix, but was more general issues about the condition. Particularly concerning was the banister around the mezzanine floor that was very loose and would be dangerous if someone fell against it. Check in and communication all ok. Deposit late being refunded.

Myself my wife and 2 teenage daughters have had a very positive experience staying at the dreamy flat at Rue Rambuteau. The location is really perfect in le Marais district. The Metro stop is 5 minutes away and connects you to the entire city especially close to the Chatelet stop which is a major transport hub. The apartment is on the ground floor so no stairs to worry about. The flat is small so do not be surprised by that when you arrive we managed well being 2 adults with15 and 17 year old young girls. The flat gave us a safe place to travel to and from and clean place to shower and sleep without noise because we prioritized to be out for the entire day and evening

The location was EVERYTHING! I could not have asked for anything more convenient to restraunts, shopping, cafes, and transportation. However, Wifi didn't work. (I had seen this feedback before and had hope it was addressed.) The first evening we had a very slow connection and by morning it was out completely. We had too buy a costly international plan from our provider instead. Room was "tidy" but it could have used a deep clean. Doors, baseboards, floors were in need of cleaning. The bed was clean, and it was not easy to find a queen sized bed in a VRBO so that was a great find! Bed was pretty hard, a mattress topper would go a long way. Everything you need for a stay was provided for the kitchen, cups, wine glasses, toaster etc. We ate out mostly so that was not a huge need for us, but it may be for someone else. The kitchen sponge looked like it had not been replaced in a year. We did not use it, we also did not find a replacement for it in the kitchen. There were plenty of clean towels for the showers and the shower head, water pressure, heat, were all great. Overall, communication and response time could be improved, (we never got resolution for the wifi after the first request for help and sending photos as they asked me for) and it took over a month to get confirmation of a date change (1 day) for our reservation. I was ready to cancel when it finally got cleared up. It was frustrating but finally got resolved. Bottom line-- location, location, location!

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Misleading Listing and Poor Communication We had been traveling through Europe for a week and specifically chose this place in Paris because the listing stated it had air conditioning—a must during the summer heat. A couple of days before our stay, we messaged the host to confirm the AC. Instead of answering our question, the host only warned us that we would lose all our money if we canceled. Upon arrival, we found out the unit did not have AC, and when we brought it up again, the host admitted this and offered to bring two fans—which never arrived. Even more frustrating, when we checked the listing again, the AC feature had been quietly removed, which felt deceptive. Additionally, the listing said free WiFi was included, but there was no usable internet during our entire stay. When we contacted the host, they informed us that the entire building didn’t have WiFi and there was nothing they could do. This forced us to rely on our data plans and incur extra charges we hadn’t anticipated. Overall, this stay felt misleading, with unfulfilled promises and poor communication from the host. Would not recommend, especially for travelers relying on basic amenities that were advertised but never delivered.
