"The place was beautiful and clean. There was an issue with check-in as we booked through Expedia which the property said they didn’t share my contact information with the Property so they had no way to send me the codes to get in the doors. We were fortunate as we arrive at 10:55pm and the entrance way phone “receptionist” said he was just on his way out for the night. He gave us codes for the main door and bedroom door but when we arrived to the third floor where our room was the code didn’t work. He left me a number to call for emergencies so we called it and they were able to provide us with a new code. The bed in Room 10 is extremely firm but I can sleep on a board so it didn’t affect me but glad my husband wasn’t with me. The walls are only made of drywall with no insulation so you hear people chatting in the halls like they are in your room. Probably typical of an old building. I love how close it was to everything. You could walk everywhere from the Château. It was the vintage experience my daughter and I were looking for to celebrate her 16th birthday. I wish there would have been a mini fridge in the room as my daughter and I both have food restrictions/allergies. Overall, good experience for the deal we got through Expedia!"
