"This was a great, affordable, comfortable recommendation by a friend in Mexico. It's in the historical part of the city in walking distance to many attractions. Easy to book tours for pickup or meet up locations. Bed was firm as I like it and the pillows for me were super. Evetything was super clean. Note that although there is a coffee machine with cups in your room, there is no coffee, tea or condiments so be ready to bring this:)"

"The people working at the hotel were kind. The price was alright, although a bit expensive for the area. I do have a couple of not-so-great points to point out. The good news is that if you're coming from the Nueve Central bus station 0 the small one that serves only a few cities, Chapala, etc. There are a bunch of bus stations in GUAD. This is one of the smallest with extremely limited service. The unfortunate situation with this hotel is that there is nothing you would want anywhere near it. It's kilometers from Centro, and I walked dozens of blocks and couldn't find a place to eat. Maybe a couple local spots that most people would not want to eat at. That is the downside. The beds are too soft for my liking, sinking into them, and the fan in the room was beyond noisy. Just keep'n it real. Loved the nice people willing to speak English that were at the front desk, so thank you for that. I would not say the area in unsafe, at all. Lots of people selling things on the street, but that is not a 'safety' issue. One upsdied is that it is across the street from a huge WalMart. You can at least get fruit, and a few items there to eat. :)"
