“Very disappointed. The property itself is nice. The rooms have spider webs. The hot water is hit and miss. Some days you get it and other days you don't. Breakfast is skimpy at best. There are 80 steps I had to take with two 20 kg bags. That is just insane. They don't tell you that at the time of booking. Also, the description of the Azul room is incorrect on Expedia. This room is NOT 568 square feet. Expedia shows free breakfast but the hotel wants to charge you for breakfast. Overall I would……

“Superb location just a block away from the fames Ipanema beach. Lots of eateries within a few blocks. Metro is right next door which makes getting to Centro real easy even in heavy traffic. Staff was super helpful and cheerful. The room size is what I expect in Ipanema. Wish the bathroom is bit bigger and they should add a hand shower. I missed that after coming back from beach.”

“Adorei minha estadia no Aurora Hostel, a galera é receptiva e a infraestrutura é boa! O quarto compartilhado misto com vista pro jardim é ótimo pois tem gaveta pra guardar as coisas com cadeado e cortinas na cama. Também gostei desse quarto pois as camas são beliche e não triliche. A internet também é boa pra quem pretende trabalhar durante a estadia. O único problema é que aqui no hoteis.com diz que tem café da manhã incluso mas eles cobram um valor aparte pelo café.”

“The staff at the hotel were fantastic and assisted us with all our needs. Even though we are English speakers we felt right at home here. The rooms are modern, with excellent views of the city (we could even see Christ the redeemer from our hotel window!). The breakfast buffet was plentiful each morning and provided us a very accessible way to get breakfast with such a busy schedule. We completed our excursions and came home to a clean and tidy room each day. The room also had air conditioning……
