「My friends and I stayed in this hotel to explore the Central Valley and the location is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. We loved their breakfast options including fruit, scrambled eggs, fresh corn tortillas, rice and beans. We ate dinner there one night and it was very good. One of my friends had a beef dish and I just wanted a plate of vegetables, which was delicious. 「Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing 」

「Everything was amazing. The room was wonderful. What a view to wake up to. Miles of private beach very private location away from the craziness of Jaco and Quepos and Parrita. The staff especially Jose and Jason bent over backwards to help us with: tours, day to day issues and just made our stay perfect.」

「Is a nice small hotel, good parking lot, good slow EV charger. Swimming pool is small, but water is crystal clear, jacuzzy without hot water, but it's not cold though. Rooms are good size, clean and modern. It is not front beach, and you need to walk for it. You need a car if you want to go for beach, restaurants or places out of the hotel, 10 min rides.
