“Check in was easy. The property is very clean . Directions marked on the trees not great. There should be more info given on where the parking is and rough terrain to get to the cabin. The ad also showed sand beach front and there was no sand at all. Pictures are very disappointing .”

“This was the perfect getaway at the perfect little cottage on Wilson lake. From taking in the sunsets while lounging on the wonderful screened in porch, to fishing, boating, or swimming from your private dock, it was exactly what we had hoped the week would be and then some! The property is extremely well looked after and the cottage privacy, comfort, and tranquil space exceeded expectations. We had room for both the truck and boat trailer in the driveway. Our host was terrific and went well out……

“Not glamping, not secludedOverall disappointed in this property. From the get go, we had difficulty locating it, and the owner did not answer the phone and did not reply to messages until over an hour later. Our booking also did not indicate which of the two cabins was ours, we had to guess.Though glamping implies some level of luxury, the cabin is extremely bare bones, cramped, and dirty. Only 4L of water was provided for a 3 day trip, and there was no outdoor sink or shower (there is a stall……

“Beautiful cabin and property. Glass door wood stove kept the entire place warm and was romantic. Excellent fishing and swimming spot. Loads of privacy. I recommend renting the boat in cooler weather but paddling in would not be hard in good weather. Large screen porch and screen room at water were great. Lots of firewood to be found. Plan for an off grid experience with the comfort of a gorgeous cabin. The hosts were some of the nicest people I have ever talked to and were very accommodating. I……

“We did not stay at this location after arriving. Be aware Cottage #1 is not directly on the lakefront and is attached to the utility garage for the groundskeeper. Also, you are not allowed to park by Cottage #1, parking is approx. 100 feet away. There is no air-conditioning which is not a problem, but the cottage was very damp inside, including the furniture. Not exactly what we were expecting, so we were very disappointed.”
