We were here on there new year It is an amazing time people go around growing water over each other and greeting each other by placing coloured flour water on your face arms body They have carnivals going through the main streets in the towns with monks sings using bells and high monks blessing people as they go through the streets It is amazing to watch & take part in

The hotel is a bit of a walk from Chidlom BTS, however they provide free tuk-tuk shuttle service to and from Mercury Ville! I enjoyed the free daily iced drinks and snacks at hotel lobby and the free credits which can be used to exchange for titbits/drinks/cup noodles from the vending machine! IF only the room could be renovated, they were quite tired looking imo.
