“Great place to stay for an early spring ski trip and eclipse viewing (we drove north after checking out). Clean, cozy place and pet friendly for our small dog. Located on a quiet dirt road but close to Ludlow town center and Okemo for skiing. Not too far from Killington either (which is where we went to ski). Minor issue for me was the bed was a bit too soft for my liking but otherwise, great place and would consider again in future.”

“Booked this terrific log cabin for its closeness to Slate Valley Trails for our annual Memorial Day Weekend mountain bike getaway. Terrific location, quiet spot on a gravel road with woods and farmlands. Great kitchen, lots of space to spread out. Very comfortable! So quiet at night, all we heard were a pair of barred owls calling to each other. Highly recommend!”

“My husband, daughter, dog and I stayed at Pete's property for the Adirondack Balloon Festival and had a great time! The whole family, including Belle the dog, were super friendly and welcoming, chatting with us, showing us around the property and even hand delivered a half dozen fresh eggs from their chickens! “Dan is a great host, very accommodating. The cottage was very clean. It was perfect for our fishing trip. Plenty of room on the dock for 2 bass boats, power within 100 feet of dock. Between the 4 of us we landed over 120 fish during our 3 night stay. All catch and release. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Had a Magical Stay at Isabel's beautiful home! Everything was perfect and there wasn't a need for anything as Isabel is the most accommodating host I have ever encountered renting through VRBO and others! The cabin is perfectly secluded and provides the much needed getaway your soul craves from your busy life! Our dogs thourougly enjoyed running the property and the hot tub under the stars with the snow flurries was breathtaking! Asked to stay another day but sadly she was already booked!……

“Once a few hiccups were worked out we had a great stay at the house in Ludlow. The previous visitors had left a large pile of trash outside and had left the hot tub cover unsecured. After we located the cover lock for the hot tub we were able to secure it so it wouldn’t keep blowing open. The silverware drawer was also broken and falling out of the cabinet. I’m sure this will be repaired. A few little problems but the house was clean and is great for a group with ability to spread out. The mud……

“We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. The location of Deerwood cabin was perfect close enough to conveniences but giving us the remote feel we wanted for the long weekend! The pictures represent the property well. Brit and Alex were extremely responsive to our questions. We grilled, sat outside with fires, and enjoyed both the back deck and covered porch in the front! The hot tub is a perfect addition to this property, was perfect temp and clean. Thank you both for creating a relaxing……

“We stayed in the property for 2 nights. It was a short drive from okemo ski resort. The home is clean and lots of entertainment. Kitchen is pretty well equipped. The home is on top of a steep driveway so make sure you have 4WD if you go in the winter. Only complaint is that the didn’t have any firewood in the house for the fireplace. We did ended up getting some on our own and I’m still waiting for them to reimburse me.”

“My family really enjoyed this Lake House. The beautiful views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. The kitchen was functional and generally well equipped. The beds in the house were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with perfect views of the lake. The location was great. Lots of wonderful hiking trials in close proximity. My only suggestion to the owners is to give the house a good deep cleaning. Nonetheless,……

“The unit was perfect for our ski race weekend. Very accessible, underground parking included (ski boxes on top of SUVs will not fit - thankfully we left ours at home), really nice place with everything we needed!”
