"The deck overlooking the countryside and the view of the sunsets makes this a spectacular place to stay. We enjoyed several evening meals there in October. On top of that, the living/dining room is spacious and the bedrooms had very comfy beds. Our hostess was diligent in solving a stove top problem and it was resolved easily within 12 hours. We enjoyed the pool late in the afternoon. It was a very peaceful place to stay."

The pool is an excellent feature and was well maintained regularly. We would thoroughly recommend the restaurant only a half hour way in the forest opposite the house, and the canyoning tours in the Gorges de Galamus. The listing was accurate and met our expectations and we would recommend to friends."

"This is a beautiful villa furnished to a very high standard and owned by an English couple who are always available to you via email during your stay. The villa has a lovely pool with breathtaking views over the Aude countryside and an extensive rocky garden which snakes up the hillside. The village of Esperaza has a wonderful Sunday market and a gorgeous bakery as well as a little supermarket, restaurants, a creperie and bars.
