“Very nice hotel. Very clean, and the staff was very professional. Breakfast was also top-notch. The only issue I had was with the gym. They say they have a gym, but they don't; the equipment is old, and there are only a handful of dumbbells to use. If you're like me and need a gym, there is a gym 1 mile away (I walked) called Palestra Area Fitness that is very nice and offers day passes. Other than that, great hotel! Also keep in mind you will be about 4 miles away from downtown. You will need……

“Location: Excellent, on Ortigia island but close to mainland. Near open air market & many good restaurants. Facilities: Common areas are superb & luxurious. Room is OK, not great. Bathroom too small, especially shower, which also leaks after each use. Service: At breakfast, service is excellent. Housekeeping is OK, sometimes good, sometimes a bit off. Food: Judging from breakfast, restaurant probably very good. In conclusion: If the bathroom was larger and better, it would truly be a 5-star……
