“It was in a great location. It was close to restaurants and some of the scenic sites in Porto. The staff was very friendly and helpful upon arrival and each time we left and entered the hotel. The accommodations were very nice, although the shower is in the bedroom, which may not be for everyone. The included breakfast had a variety of choices and the restaurant was amazing. ”

“The room we had was small and could be noisy at night since it faced the river and there are restaurants next door. The staff and service was fantastic though and the location is close to so much.”

“This is a beautiful hotel and our suite was well appointed and had one of the best showers I have ever found in a hotel. Turn down service and cleanliness was fabulous. We had trouble keeping the room cool enough, the controls were confusing and would revert back to a default in the middle of the night. Staff was attentive and helpful but ultimately was unable to secure us dinner reservations other than in their own hotel and did not seem to have many restaurants that they worked with.……

“I will definitely come back!! The staff members were really friendly. I have got a welcome drink on the first night which was really nice. Breakfast variety was plenty. The design of the room reflects the winery itself. There is plenty of place to store things. The good thing is there is a door separate the bedding area and bathrooms. There is 4 bathrooms to share in a 14-bed dorm and i never need to wait for a second to use it.”

“THe hotel was within walking distance to the center of town, the river and many other touristy places. It is a small hotel, the staff was very friendly and we were given a suite which was great. Recommend this hotel if you want to be close to where the action is.”

“Two night stay as part of a six night Porto visit. Room was pleasant and bed very comfy. Issue with unstable hot water in shower ~ too hot and difficult to control. Also breakfast limited choice rather basic. ”

“I must say it is a wonderful hotel in a great location if you want to be in the middle of it all. Down side is there’s an incline to get in and out of it. Transportation vehicles cannot transit in front of it. Only in the early morning hours. But overall, I would definitely go back. ”
