“Excellent accommodation and food at the Pub was also very good.”

“Loved this place.”

“A nice place to stay with friendly helpful staff in a beautiful location. Having family close by this will be our first choice to stay on our many visits.”

“A pleasant living experience in this cozy place. Quiet and the hosts are so lovely. Also impressed by the building work from Bob. ”

“The staff are great but according to the locals OYO have ruined the place and dont care. Which is a shame as the staff all try so hard without support.”

“The staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially when I couldn't open the key cabinet. Dinner was quite excellent and reasonably priced. Room was larger than expected but TV reception was patchy and screen kept freezing perhaps due to poor Wi-Fi reception. One thing to remember, they do not have allocated parking - whilst there is a large car park behind it is £2 for 2 hours and £6 for a day but keep in mind the gates are shut from10pm to 8am which is unhelpful when you need to leave……

“The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location.”

“Enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were friendly and the room was clean.”

“Clean, well presented, friendly helpful staff and a decent breakfast! Couldn't ask for any more, was a great place to stay. We only stayed one night but would be happy to return and stay longer! Highly recommended”

“We had a lovely stay. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And was in a fab location for what we needed.”

“An amazing place - right location near the mountains and valleys, spic, interior full of character as per the inn name, cheerful staff, good size rooms with amenities, tea and coffee with milk (not milk powder), a shower with superb spray force and priced perfectly. Whether you are a solo traveller or family, it's highly recommended if you are in Sennybridge.”

“Good value for money ”

“Very clean quaint cottage. Beautiful! ”

“ An excellent stay overall. Our room was very comfortable and pleasant. Common kitchen area a bit chaotic but ok. Easy to find and convenient for Brecon. Would return.”

“A beautiful restoration of an old building with lovely hosts and staff.”

“The hotel generally and also the rooms were tired and dated and in need of a refresh/renovation. Price point for this specific hotel was too high. Breakfast was mediocre as was the bar. It was like something out of the 70's. I won't be returning.”
