"After we checked in and went to the room, we opened the door to our room and it had not been cleaned. I had to go back to the front desk to get a new room. The walls and the door to the bathroom were dirty. The shower is a glass door that does not meet at the walls so when you take a shower, water gets all over the floor."

"The property was very nice and comfortable. The complimentary evening drinks and breakfast were a great bonus, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the breakfast was. The pool was nice, although it looked a little bigger in the photos. The location was one of the best parts of the stay. The views were great, downtown was within walking distance, and it was easy to get to restaurants, shops, and attractions. Wrightsville Beach was also only a short drive away, which made it convenient to enjoy both the beach and downtown during the trip. My only criticism is that the property could have been cleaner, especially considering the price and overall appearance of the hotel. Even so, I had a very enjoyable stay and would consider staying here again."

"Property is not maintained well, and the surrounding area seems run down. My family of four stayed here for a couple of nights, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with kids. And there is no complimentary coffee in the mornings, which is ridiculous. I’m appalled that Hilton would put this in their “Tapestry” Collection!”"
