“We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the sweet cat. Juliann was a wonderful hostess- kind and gave us great suggestions for dinners!! Breakfast was yummy and right on time . The place was very clean and comfortable!😊”

“no air conditioning, no shower. no toilet paper, no cabinet near sink to place tolietries, bath is shared with 4 other rooms, no wifi or phone service on the 12 mile treacherous access road, not one light at house if you arrive after dark, no one to show you where to get room key or where room is located . If you want to experience WV try Hawks Nest Lodge in Anstead WV by the new river gorge national park...a MUCH better experience for a lot less money”

“Loved our stay the Sugar Maple Suite, the grounds were beautiful to walk around and the porch relaxing to sip wine in the swing. Will definite stay here again!”
