Autumn break

Very spacious and charming accomodation in a real and lively small town. Accomodation was not gligzy, but comfortable and tranquil.. Spacious patio would have been great if we had got more sunshine. Plenty of unpretentious great-value cafes nearby, some with own delicious pastries and fresh bread. Local 4-day festival was a bonus. Only 15 mins walk to amazing surf and beaches in picturesque Baleal. One hour drive to Lisbon. Great spot!

Großes Haus mit schöner Terrasse

Wir haben für 4 Wochen mit bis zu 5 Erwachsenen in diesem großen Haus gewohnt und teilweise auch gearbeitet. Es ist wirklich sehr viel Platz. Ein absolutes Highlight war die Tischtennisplatte im Gartenhaus. Die Einrichtung ist nicht unbedingt modern aber voll okay. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und gut zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto ist man super schnell am Meer (joggen geht auch) und in Ferrel gibt es einige schöne Cafes und Restaurants. Insgesamt war es ein toller Aufenthalt

Gemütliches und geräumiges Haus

Das Haus ist perfekt für eine Familie. Es ist sehr gut gelegen, in einer ruhigen Gegend, aber in der Nähe zum Strand, Supermärkten und Restaurants. Nette Nachbarn, immer freundlich und helfen bei allen Problemen weiter. Definitiv ein angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Fantastisch huis en vakantie juli 2018

Een fantastische huis om te huren. We waren met 9 personen(2 gezinnen). Het huis is groot en alles is aanwezig. Het zijn ruime slaapkamers met kasten. De keuken is basic maar prima. Prachtig servies en inrichting. De tuin met gelegenheid om buiten te zitten is geweldig. Het dorpje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor de boodschappen of uit eten. Omgeving is veel te doen. Strand is dichtbij. Een aanrader om het huis te huren en zeker met meer personen.

L'accueil des propriétaires est super chaleureux. Louis et Felipe sont francophones et nous ont donné plein de conseils, soucieux de bien nous recevoir. La maison est très spacieuse et agréable. Nous avons adoré la dépendance qui était très pratique et conviviale. Le village a toutes les commodités. Il y a des plages magnifiques à proximité, même si l'eau est un peu froide (17ºC) et avec beaucoup de vagues. La règion est attractive. Nous y sommes allés à 2 familles et avons adoré.

Großzügiges Ferienhaus mit Charakter und netten Vermietern

The house has a lot of space inside and outside, and we felt very much at home. The owners are very nice, discreet and obliging, reacting promptly to questions (e.g. via sms, WhatsApp). The house is located in a calm area of the small village, where you can find small supermarkets and nice restaurants within walking-distance. It´s also close to two nice and sandy beaches (5 minutes by car), where you can book surfing classes, or just relax, swim or take walks. Also very interesting with lots of sites to visit are the surroundings, and of course Lisbon (about 1 hr to go by car). The patio provides a lot of privacy to sunbathe, barbecue etc. and makes you feel at ease with its flowers and trees to look on. The kitchen is well equipped, there are two showers, and three bathrooms. If we come back to this area of Portugal, we will certainly choose this house again. Thanks for everything, family Santos!

Lovely house with a plenty of space close to beach to relax or surf.

Our stay in Luis House was very nice. It is a big house with a plenty of space. The furniture and everything else was in a good state. We had everything we wanted and needed. The house is at a quite place but very close to a supermarket and nice restaurants. Some of the restaurants are very good and recommended by locals and the internet. Don't forget to book a table :). We enjoyed our stay a lot. There are 2 floors in the house. 3 bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and bathtube/shower plus 2 nice rooms with furniture. The 1st floor has 2 bedrooms and a toilet plus the living room and the kitchen. Another toilet with shower is outside next to the kitchen in the backyard. The house has a very nice backyard with trees plus an additional big room with bicycles and tables. There is enough space to have a big car in the backyard plus sun beds and a table to sit on for breakfast. Ferrel is very close to the Baleal and Lagide beaches where a lot of surf shops, surf schools, bars and more to discover can be found. Luis and his family were very nice to us every time we saw them. He welcomed us very good and showed us the neighborhood. I would definitively recommend this house. Five stars.

Séjour très agréable apprécié de toute la famille

Nous avons rencontré Luis Santos qui est une personne de qualité, charmant, serviable, et très courtois. La maison très confortable est bien située, très proche de tous commerces, restaurants locaux, bars typiques. Egalement très proches de belles plages , à moins de 5 minutes en vélo ou voiture. Une vaste et agréable terrasse permet de prendre les repas, de "farnienter", aux enfants de jouer tranquillement. Un local entre terrasse et maison, proche du barbecue bien ammenagé, permet aussi les repas (vaste et clair). On peut disposer de vélos et affaires de plages gentiment mis à la disposition, ce qui est bien pratique car nous sommes venus par avion, avec peu de bagages... Luis Santos est un hôte très sympathique, qui donne de bons conseils sur la région et les sites intéressants à visiter, comme la cité médiévale de Obidos, le monastère de Alcobaça, et d'autres... Les restaurants de Ferrel sont typiques et les plats locaux délicieux... Nous avons bien apprécié "le cantinhiou" et le "Pico Peixe" tout proche de la maison.

vacances très agréables

Le propriétaire est très accueillant et disponible. La maison quand elle est très bien située et très agréable, même à plusieurs nous ne sommes pas à l'étroit. La maison est à 5 minutes de la mer et le village de Ferrel est typique avec des marchandes de légumes le matin défiant toute concurrence de prix. il y a également pas mal de petits commerces et restaurants !

Avec ma famille nous avons passé 15j formidables dans cette maison grande et spacieuse située à meme pas 5min en voiture (ou 15min à pied) de la plage. Le propriétaire est très accueillant et nous recommande plein de lieux à visiter, mais aussi des marchés ou trouver de la bonne nourriture. Bref à recommander.

Todo con respecto a la casa ha sido perfecto. El dueño muy simpático y atento, la casa grande, cómoda y muy limpia. Hemos utilizado mucho el enorme merendero que tiene junto a la parrilla. En general la estancia ha sido perfecta :)

Le propriétaire, accueillant tout en restant discret, nous a gentiment renseignés sur les visites à faire dans les environs, ce qui ne manque pas... L''endroit est idéalement situé pour les visites touristiques (Fatima, Obidos, Lisbonne, Nazaré, etc.). Petite bourgade sympathique avec nombreux commerces alimentaires à proximité et restaurants (recommandation particulière pour "O Cantinho Saloio", traditionnel, bon et simple)."

"je vous conseille cette location qui est très grande propre déco de la maison a l'ancienne et le quartier calme enfin au mois de juin pendant notre séjour il faut lire qu'il y a 3 WC et 2 salle de bain une a chaque étage. Maison bien équipé jardin clos donc les enfants peuvent jouer dehors sans danger région très belle. Commerce très proche de la maison des supérettes, des boulangers( pastel-aria), des bouchers et même poissonnier sur la place plus plein de bar ou on peut prendre un verre tranquille. On a passé un très beau séjour. Je vous conseille cette maison."
