“Nice little cabin with very comfortable bed. Be careful when booking through alternate sites. Hotels.com reserved a king bed cabin and none were available when we arrived. ”

“Very accommodating. Didn’t like first room in motel. Drab, noisy. Explained to check in staff and was moved to log cabin with King bed and bath and parking space outside door. Still small but very nice and comfortable. Fridge, microwave , desk, chair, tv. I would suggest booking directly with Powder House yo avoid confusion about room. Price in off season reasonable ( the same or less). ”

“really close to lots of tourist spots, i enjoyed shopping and eating in areas near by. also super well placed town in between rapid city and custard. we loved staying in a lodge instead of a hotel. ”

“Overall we were well pleased. suggestions for improvement:1. Control the flies;2. Bedroom with slanted ceiling was difficult to avoid bumping head;3. Kitchen was small and lacked mixer and can opener;4. Keep 2 tables in large room downstairs for larger parties to dine;5. AC units were noisy and lit up room at night6. “This was a fabulous location, quiet, peaceful and surrounded by beauty and wildlife! It was close to restaraunts and attractions but away from the hustle and bustle. I loved having outdoor seating both in front and in back of the house. The host was super responsive when we had a request during our stay. ”
