“Warm”

“I think the smoking area should be moved from by the front entrance. It would be a much better experience waiting for the trolley etc if you did not have to breath the smoke. I believe this would make your front entrance much more welcoming. Also, I think grab bars in the shower would be very helpful to most of your guests. Our room did not have a grab bar.”

“They charge $15/night for parking, which I don't think they mention anywhere but they give you $15/night in gambling money, but if you don't gamble it doesn't do you any good. Continental breakfast ends at 9, you'd think for where this hotel is at, in a casino the breakfast could go until at least 10.”

“Everything was great during our stay with the exception of it being a bit noisy with doors closing late/middle of the night.”

“This hotel is very outdated. The chair in our room was frayed and so dirty, that we didn't want to sit on it. The remote for the TV was very dirty and needed new batteries. We had to get a new lightbulb as one of the lamps didn't work next to the bed. The bathtub barely drained when taking a shower and the shower curtain was filthy. The carpet was very dirty too. The side entry door keypad was broke so you had to go through the main entrance to get to the elevator. At the side entry door,……

“Enjoyed staying here while adventuring in the Custer state park area. Staff was friendly, continental breakfast was tasty and my room met my needs. The carpet in the common areas like the stairwell looked a little well loved from winter. My room was clean and the dinner recommendations from the staff were on point!”

“The rooms were clean and it looked like something you would see in an old west movie. It was very nice. The elevator was being repaired so it kept opening and closing every few minutes till”

“Foothills inn was a great motel that I would recommend when traveling through the Black Hills of South Dakota. The prices were good. The bed was very comfortable.I stayed three nights here while motorcycle touring.”

“The tents are lovely, but if the weather isn’t good, it’s incredibly cold & the small stoves they use for heat are not sufficient, the staff does not help to build fires and are not vigilant about helping.”
