“My kids and I had the BEST time staying in this adorable farmhouse. We spent time outside on the porch swing and chair, the fire pit out back, and playing the games provided by the family. We didn't touch our electronic devices once! Our favorite part was eating breakfast every morning at the kitchen table and looking out the window at the scenery. The fruit and snacks provided by the family from their farm was the perfect touch. We will definitely be back here again, hopefully in the fall! WELL……

“Charming home. You can feel the history in the house and on the entire property. Sitting on the porch in the evening and just watching the fireflies come out, the deer passing through, and hearing the wild turkeys above us, so serene. We spent the days touring Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry taking in all the history and then returned home and we would think about thr history that took place here. “Our awesome guest experience started with the thoughtful emails from our host. We stayed on the farm after visiting Great Wolf Lodge and Hershey Park. Both places are fun, but over stimulating; it was relaxing retreating to the farm. The apartment was very clean, gave all of us space to take a bit of time apart, and allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner each day. “We had a great stay at Valley View! The farmhouse was gorgeous inside and out. We spent every day floating around in the pond and relaxing. We had all the supplies needed to cook dinner at night. The Oriental General Store was a short walk down the road where we could pickup almost anything we needed. Our host was friendly and responsive. We highly recommend! ”
