“The house was perfect for our family vacation! It’s often so hard to find something big enough for family to have enough space and this house was great! Also so helpful that it was dog friendly. Easy communication with the host. Only recommendation- if you’re sensitive to the taste of tap water, might want to bring some drinking water with you! ”

“We absolutely loved the location of the cottage with fantastic views of the lake from almost every room. It was quiet and we felt safe there. “Gwen and Andrew’s cabin was a perfect place to unwind and watch the beauty of the lake by morning, noon and night. It was very tidy, clean and very well thought out for the cozy space inside, with plenty of seating areas outside to move yourself with the sun throughout the day. They kindly offered use of their canoe to explore the peacefully quiet lake and fishing in the coves. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again to rejuvenate in this peaceful place! ”

“Very relaxing and peaceful ”

“10/10 experience! We wanted to be within an hour or so of Acadia National Park, but also wanted to enjoy some laid back lake time. It had everything you’d hope for - it was so cozy, very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen etc. We went fishing and pedal boating and kayaking and swimming - enjoyed so much wildlife and beautiful weather! "The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient."
