Great House, Horrible Yard

Accommodations were as expected, but getting from house to water was not. Communicating with Pensacola Beach Properties with requests for lawn care proved fruitless. Entire week was spent trying to avoid the weeds, briars, and poison in the yard as we ventured to the water.

Good for a last minute stay

The home itself was nice. There was tons of trash all over the yard though, from plastic cups and bottles to cigarette butts. The air conditioning on one side of the house didn’t work. We called the property managers and they sent someone out but it wasn’t fixed during our stay. Half of the lamps had no lightbulbs, and a few of the televisions had no remote. A lot of the dishes were dirty so we had to wash a lot before using. The neighbor to the right was very rude, and made a point of watching us if we ever came outside, which is unnerving when you have small children. The “private beach” is really just a bunch of hazardous rocks that you have to climb over so we didn’t swim in the back yard. It was a good house for a quick getaway, but we wouldn’t book again.

Do not stay here

Trash including diapers, rolls of toilet paper and a busted out window with glass in the driveway greeted us as we stayed the first night. We notified the rental company and no one even attempted to come and clean up the broken glass. My husband and I picked up the other trash. Ice maker and trash dispenser were also broken. We won’t be back.
