The property was close to the beach, driving distance to stores, Destin and dining. I felt safe on the property and loved that is was at the end of sabra Rosa Blvd. not a lot of traffic. My unit was dirty. Dishes had food and grime on then. Door handles were crusty and sticky. Kitchen counters were dirty with coffe stains that could have been wiped clean. The coffee maker leaked, and the dishwasher did not clean dishes. They do not have a frying pan to cook with. The unit was very spacious. Lots of room. Not a bad view considering it overlooked the lake not the ocean. Very quiet. Close to the pool. The unit would have been amazing… if it was cleaner. Updated would have been a plus but not a must.

The resort in itself was great! Staff and security was great! Room was best I have stayed at on Santa Rosa. It was the 4th diff condo I’m visited. Only issue we had was some of the locals that was residing there when we were at the pool one evening. I over heard them talking about everyone in pool (my family and another family) a certain way, saying out of towners come here and try to take over and feel entitled. Knowone was being loud disrespectful anything. Just normal kids playing in a pool. We were enjoying our vacation. They were older ladies, and I was 2 chairs from them so they knew I heard them. And at that point we just got up and left. That was only down point of our vacation that wasn’t enjoyable. And it wasn’t the resorts fault. Overall I will go back to el matador, best bed I’ve ever slept in. Room clean , anything almost you need for beach in outside room on balcony, that was a first for me when staying in condo so far. Hope you enjoy!

Excellent value! Beautiful views.
Such a great place. The view of the sound was beautiful. We’d stay here again I’m a heartbeat. And the deal we got was cheaper than many of the hotels on Ft. Walton Beach.

Ice stay in a more private beach area
Unfortunately my reservation was double booked so ended up staying in a different room with two small beds instead of a Queen size bed. The place was nice, the view was amazing and the amenities were great. Close to the beach and away from the crowds.

The unit we stayed.in was clean and spacious. Kitchen was complete with everything you will need. The complex though is a bit dated. But the pools and beach area are clean

Perfect location for the beach. It's in a more laid back area but only 5 miles from the Destin Harborwalk and 3 miles to the Boardwalk which is another great location to eat and be right on the beach. The condo was clean. You can see tge sunset on one side and sunrise on the other. The condo is on the 6th floor.

Disappointing
The property was nice but the unit was very disappointing. How someone is not embarrassed to rent out a unit with such an old, dirty carpet is beyond me. How can you get hundreds of dollars from people and expect them to live on an old old carpet. The owner of this condo really needs to invest in tiles.
