A Wonderful Property

Very lovely stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The home was beautifully decorated, very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. This unit is at the end of the cul da sac and has a great view from its back porch. We used the community beach shuttle to go back and forth to the beach front clubhouse.

Good layout for multiple families

Nice layout with the bedrooms upstairs. Plenty of room in the garage for a van and a golf cart. Washer and dryer in the unit was also nice.

Nice place close to the beach

Lost key

Nice,clean and enjoyed being able to eat at the beach club! Only thing is that the thermostat was set on 72 and wouldn’t go lower. Got hot at night.

My stay

Trying to locate the check in booth was difficult, we arrived late night. Since we hadn't been there before it was jut hard to find the "Blue Box" in the dark. We arrived on Sunday evening and Monday night when we went to do laundry we found the dryer full of damp sheets and towels from a previous stay. We were wondering why there were so few bath towels.

Beautiful

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It is a quiet neighborhood and very well manicured. The garage was a plus we have a truck and it fit with plenty of room to get in and out. They offer a shuttle to the beach, which was very nice. We drove to the beach everyday, which wasn't far if you wanted to walk, but we had chairs and bags to drag along. The gym on site was quite nice and the pool area was great as well. I really have nothing bad to say of our experience here, except we brought our coffee maker from home. They have a Keurig and a 4 cup coffee maker, which is fine, but we really like coffee so we would've had to brew like 4 pots. Overall fantastic place and we will book here again. Side note, there are two steep flights of stairs, no big deal for us and 4 teenagers, but I just wanted to put that out there.

Perfect townhome!

The pictures and layout of the home was exactly as described. We did have a couple of issues. The ice maker would not make ice and the tv did not have cable. I put in for maintenance twice and they were prompt to come out. TV was never resolved. However, it was nice to “unplug”. The freezer needed a new water filter as it was long overdue. I hope maintenance installs a new one before the next guests arrive. Yet, I gave it 5 stars because we had a wonderful family trip.

Pretty

Really pretty property. Size and spaces worked well for our family of seven. Two king beds in unit are always a win for us with our tall crew! We were able to setup a pack n play in the master closet to have a quiet place for a little one. Resort side pool was really nice! We probably wouldn't stay here again as we've been spoiled by beachfront or very easily walkable properties. We didn't find the shuttle to be convenient for our larger family (including a toddler with a lot of gear). We wouldn't have minded driving (our car or a golf cart) if parking had been more available at the beach or pool (very small lot there). National call center for management company was responsive to issues with internet, but local office seemed too overwhelmed to respond quickly. We were missing one of the key cards promised for access to gate/pool/beach and local staff didn't deliver until the last afternoon of our 4-night stay.

Perdido has the key to our hearts.

The townhouse was beautiful and had all of the amenities of home. The location to the beach was perfect and having access to the Beach Club and private beach was an added bonus. However, the rules of the Beach Club were not listed when we booked our trip. In the listing of the home it said you would have 2 beach chairs and one umbrella. This is somewhat true. It is based on a first come status. So if you don’t arrive at the beach by 10:15am you will not have an umbrella. The other issue we had was, you are not allowed to bring a cooler to the private beach (no outside food or drinks). They have servers on the beach, so you can order food and beverage from them. This is a nice convenience, but the details should have been included on the website. They have a shuttle service that runs between the townhomes and the beach club. While we were there, the shuttle was out of service for a day and a half. We had our own car, which we took to the beach daily. There was one day our teens wanted to come later and they waited over 30 minutes for the shuttle and then ended up walking the 1.5 miles to the beach. It would be helpful to have a way to communicate these details to the guest. Other than these few issues, our vacation was fabulous. Perdido Key is a great, quiet area. The beach is not crowded at all. The chose of restaurants are great as well. We would definitely choose it again.

Awesome New Place, Quiet w/All Amenities!

Convenient beach access and close to all local restaurants. Clean, quiet with easy check in and check out. Gated community with quick access. Condo had everything we needed to feel at home, with spacious living room, kitchen, and bedrooms/baths. Washer/Dryer were great for the family, along with accessible internet and TV streaming services.

Beach weekend escape

A perfect long week. We enjoyed our stay in this well appointed, clean unit. Nicely decorated. The back view is great, especially loved the quiet morning on the porch. Beach club, food service, and pool is a great amenity.

Great place to stay

Very cute place to stay. Important to note it is a 3 level home; ground level is garage and front door area, second story is living room, half bath, and kitchen, third level is 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was a musty odor at front door and garage, possibly normal but I'm not sure. The grill utensils weren't cleaned from previous tenants and water filter on fridge was long overdue for changing. Overall, I would absolutely recommend.

A great stay with a nice back porch view

A very nice stay at Lost Key. This unit is at the end of a quiet cul-da-sac. Great unit, super clean home. Started and ended each day with coffee & wine on the raised back porch. This unit has an amazing view.

Great Stay and Great Service

Our stay was everything we could have asked for and more. The house was very nice and well maintained and the amenities within Lost Key were great! The Beach Club was very convenient and easy to park at and the neighborhood pool was a quick walk and very enjoyable, especially for the kids. They owners and staff went above and beyond to provide us a comfortable trip and ensure our needs were met. Would definitely stay again!

Will totally be back

This place is awesome! We have stayed in the Lost Key community twice. This townhouse is spacious, conveniently located, and well kept. We enjoy the amenities such as the huge pool, walkways, and closeness to the beach. We will be back.

Better than the pictures.

Sometimes pictures are better than the place is, but this was the reverse. Very happy with the townhouse and the Beach Club was great! Be aware that there are two sets of stairs so no one with knee problems.
