"We had a lot of communication with the host before and after arrival. The Haus was lovely, quaint and just what we needed to get away from the usual chain hotels. The Haus was clean and very comfortable and had a good range of amenities. The view at sunset was great and we enjoyed sitting on the veranda. We did not use the kitchen facilities, although they appeared more the adequate. All in all this is a lovely hideaway and well worth a visit if you are driving the Blue Ridge Parkway."

"Really no complaints. We woke up too late and missed the breakfast. Being close to the main roads is convenient, but of course you get traffic noise. But I had ear plugs put in so it didn’t really bother me for sleeping. I liked the plenty of counterspace in the bathroom. It’s always a plus for girls. The bed was comfortable enough."

"This was an amazing setting, in front of a pond, With chairs on the deck to enjoy nature and its serenity and the trees all around, relatively private. Full-size kitchen, one shower, but two powder rooms. Full-size refrigerator and stove, Nice size, dining room, table and chairs, a good sized living room, The beds were comfortable. I loved the gas fireplace. Wi-Fi and TV in the unit. Everything was clean. I wished I could stay here for more than just one night. The only issue was I couldn’t find a cutting board. And I feel there could be better signs to get to the unit, once on the grounds because it is large. I found it no problem, but I wasn’t sure if I was going the right way at certain intersections once on the property. The ground seem to be well maintained. They have horses on the grounds nearby. I would definitely stay here again!"

"This was perfect for our sisters getaway! Tom met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour. The house was so cozy, with all the fall decor, and the stock of snacks and drinks was an excellent treat! The hot tub was amazing on the cool fall evenings. We even saw a mama bear and her two cubs. Would highly recommend!!"

"We loved this beautiful home and all its comfort. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. The house was very close to shopping centers and only about 15 minutes from Asheville via the expressway. We met our hosts upon our arrival and they were very welcoming and even left us a delicious pie. The house was handsomely decorated with a rabbit theme. Our Vizsla was also very comfortable and made herself at home. When we return to Asheville, we will definitely make this our destination again."
