“This is a hidden gem! If you are looking to just get away from it all, this is the spot. The property grounds are secluded and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in the area for business, but liked this cabin so much we are planning another trip just to hang out and enjoy the area!”

“We've never been anywhere like this before, it was great! It really is secluded, a good distance off the road near one end of a 550 acre farm that's mostly forest. If we hadn't wanted to see any other people, that would have been very possible. But the owners are delightful and very friendly, and we really enjoyed getting to chat with them and learn about the farm. The cabin itself was great for the two of us. It's very clean and looks like it was refurbished within the last few years, so……

“We stayed for two days with our kids. My wife’s family is from Estill County and we were familiar with the area. The cabin was perfect for two adults and two kids. The Drifter cabin is next to the area where they keep their pigs, which are adorable ( they’re close enough to see but not smell). The property is large, ~500 acres, and there are trails and open spaces that you can use. It’s located in a beautiful valley and is a great drive in. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They work the farm……

“We were told they were calling for rain so we should probably have a 4 x 4. We have a 37 foot motorhome with a trailer and it sounded like we would get stuck if we came. I thought it was a campground but It wasn’t worth the risk of getting stuck. So we forfeited the money instead of paying for a wrecker.”
