“Melanie and Gary were great from moment we reserved the annex for a last minute long weekend. The annex is a suite of 2BRs, kitchen and bath w/a lovely patio where u can grill. When I noticed that there wasn't a hairdryer as advertised, Melanie immediately ordered one to be delivered. Everything we needed was available. Location great for exploring Litchfield county.”

“We rented this place for the first time for a family gathering. The setting was very private and “country-ish”. For the most part everything listed was present at the place and there were enough sleeping options for our crew. Overall - the owners were nice and fairly responsive but there was a level of disappointment to the care of the property and more importantly the preparedness for our arrival. They said the pool and hot tub were cleaned and ready but the pool was still dirty and the hot tub……

“There is a lot of fun things to do close by. The house was spotless and it was nice to relax on the sofa or outside patio and look at the river. ”

“This cozy cottage is exactly as listed and so much more! It is very spacious inside and was immaculate. The hostess left us waters and snacks which was a nice touch when we arrived. The firepit was so nice to enjoy on a chilly night. The house was situated very close to White Memorial Conservation Center and to downtown Litchfield. It was simply perfect and we will definitely be back.”

“When I started searching for places for my family to stay at during our family vacation, I was so thrilled to find this property. It was the perfect place for us! The home has a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor which is exactly what we needed for my senior parents who would have had a difficult time with stairs. The other rooms on the 2nd and 3rd levels were also very large, clean and had all of the amenities you would want for your home away from home. Our host communicated with us……

“We visited over a holiday weekend. The house is clean and a good size for the 3 adults in our group and our dog. It is in walking distance to several stores and a park. We would stay again if we were in the area. ”

“Loved the property. The owners even made us steak and lobster upon arrival to accomadate for something that was out of their control with the pool but did not affect the usage of the pool. First class all the way and the horses were so amazing. The kids loved feeding them carrots, which the host provided. Fantastic home for family gatherings. Pet friendly and kid fun. The pool and jacuzzi were great, kitchen has everything so dont bring anything. Overall a great and cozy fun home, looking……

“Close to new milford and Washington, this is easy to find with great instructions. The beds were incredibly comfortable with plenty of room throughout the entire property. The amount of space here is perfect. There are board games, TV, and great views if you just like to enjoy nature. Great lighting throughout the house and b outside. Plenty of good reading spots.
