“First and foremost this booking got booked for the wrong dates which resulted in a very distressing experience for my family. We arrived at the property around 9:00 PM with my senior parents and young child, expecting to check in, only to be told that our reservation period had already ended. We were left stranded at night with nowhere to stay. The host refused to let us check in and also refused to provide any refund, forcing us to find last-minute accommodation at a significantly higher……

La casa y el trato de los propietarios son 11 de 10: Maravillosos. Nos quedamos 3 días y no queríamos partir: 5 habitaciones, 5 camas dobles y una habitación escondida con una casita de campaña para que los niños jueguen. Un área de juegos y juegos de mesa. “Our family of 5 adults were very impressed with the whole house and property. The amazingly spacious backyard was a pleasant surprise. So peaceful, quiet and beautiful back there. We were thrilled with all the little thoughtful extras throughout the house. The host Neil thought of everything and was great to communicate with. We loved the location and how we could easily walk into the quaint town of Elora. I highly recommend this hidden gem!”

“Stephanie is a pleasant host. The space is at the back of the house with a nice view of trees and greenery. We stayed for a week and the kitchen had mostly what we needed to get through making meals. A larger pan would be helpful as well as some coffee pods. The washer and dryer (detergent supplied) are wonderful if you plan on staying long enough to need to wash a few things, especially if with children. You can hear noise from upstairs as there is a family with children so be aware of this……

The parking was right outside the front door which was very convenient. It was very cool to stay in this carriage house and imagine all that went on all those years ago.”
