「There is no staff present and the hosts don't reply when you email them. The rooms are cozy and clean but not sound proof. Breakfast is provided along with fresh eggs but there's no way to cook them other than in a microwave. The bathroom has a tub and a handheld shower, impossible for anyone to shower without wetting the entire bathroom. The bathroom sink is little more than a birdbath. No fan or ventilation other than opening the front door.」

Staff (Calum) family run hotel was lovely very helpful on any knowledge about Callander what to do and see and always had time for a blether. Breakfast was lovely and tasty both mornings, nothing was a problem and went that extra mile to make the stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. 3 Adults in adjoining rooms.」

「This is a difficult to review. The owners are so kind and friendly, the room was large and opened to the garden which is lovely. However, the room itself was very musty, I instantly filled up, had a sore throat, then got a headache. We stayed two nights, so I purchased my own pillows, opened up the garden door for a couple hours and slept better the second night. My husband was not bothered by the smell. For me, it was awful. Had I seen recent reviews advising of this, I wouldn’t have chosen...
