“I saw a lot of negative reviews and was pleasantly surprised at how erroneous they were. Everything was clean and orderly. The desk clerk was polite, albeit a little deficient in English and clearly overworked. The cleaning staff was top-notch. The bed was clean and comfortable with plenty of pillows. The only problem I noticed was a loose bathroom sink fixture. I reached underneath and tightened the bolt by hand. Problem solved. I have been to many interstate-adjacent hotels. This one rates……

“This was a lovely place to stay while in the Adirondacks. It has been completely updated. It is VERY clean and has all the necessities. Dishes, dish soap, and paper towels in the kitchenette. We were very pleasantly surprised by how great this was. There was no staff on site so that was confusing at first because I missed the email with check in instructions but I called the number they provided and someone answered and helped us immediately. We will stay here again.”

“I loved Brookside Motor Inn! We had a lot of space--two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a small kitchen--for a super reasonable price. The decor is dated, yet I love that they use what they have instead of sending things to the trash and replacing them with newer versions. In this way, this hotel seems truly to practice sustainability. I also loved opening up the back door and seeing the creek--it is literally just steps away. I will definitely come back when I am in this area again!”

“I We’re still here but the staff has been great! We came in late at night because of the storm and they stayed up waiting for us. Very thoughtful and a much welcomed oasis in the storm. The room was warm and clean when we arrived, couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!”

“While the hotel room was clean, the ambiance around was absolutely horrific. Dogs running up and down the halls, men shouting. Small children shrieking for hours. It was a quick stay, and anyone can not sleep for a night- but I would never go back. ”

“As a party of eight bicyclists, traveling on a budget, this motel met our needs perfectly. The staff were especially accommodating and helpful. Having a restaurant (Gus' Red Hots) next door was a real help.”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, but in our room the front door weather stripping was shot and cold air came in at a good pace, and the heating system had trouble keeping up. Water was hot with decent pressure and towels were adequate. Decent breakfast set up.”

We stayed in the Norway cabin which was so cute and super clean. The cabin was equipped with everything you need... even a Keurig coffee machine! We especially enjoyed the fireplace. It was such a wonderful experience that we're ready to plan our next visit. 5 stars in our books! ”
