“Had everything we needed”

“This is the second year we have stayed at this home for our winter holiday. We have enjoyed our visits and found the home to have everything we need. We were pleased to find the fireplace in working order, even though we received a note that it was not working. That and the large kitchen are the natural gathering spots for our family. Watching the ice fishing on the lake is an added bonus. Thank you for sharing this lovely property. We'll be back!”

“The property was better than advertised. Brand new and perfectly efficiently layed out for a family of 4. Kids loved sleeping in the loft and had their choice of beds. The house was immaculate and the linens were comfortable like home. We have a wonderful time at the house and skiing Sunday River which was a pleasant drive and easy to get to. The lake was our favorite!!”

“We had a fantastic stay at this house with friends! The location's proximity to the mountain was a game-changer, and the host was incredibly easy to communicate with. The house met all our needs, but we suggest a few improvements. Firstly, more kitchen equipment would be great; we found a shortage of bowls compared to the number of people the house sleeps. Secondly, having a dedicated area for skis and ski boots would enhance the overall experience in the winter. Lastly, an extra couch or two……

“We stayed at the end of August and had a wonderful time. Our host(ess) was very easy to communicate with and she provided us with plenty of information about the property and things to do locally. The kids spent alot of time at the swimming hole on the Sindsy river, as well as fishing there are plenty of brook and brown ttout in the river as well as some perch. We were pleasantly surprised with the assirtment of both indoor and outdoor games that were available to be used. This property is at……

“We had a fantastic stay at the Riverfront Farmhouse. The design & interiors of this vacation home are well thought out...pleasing, intuitive & well appointed. The sighting of the house on the beautiful wooded lot is perfect for privacy, views of the woods and southern exposure. We spent several March afternoons on the sun filled deck. In addition, the hosts thought of everything to accommodate our comfort and needs. We felt welcomed and communication was excellent.”

“Nice house, more than we needed for 2 couples. Two separate fenced in yard areas for the dog. Large driveway for several vehicles, we had 2 p/u's with trailers for hauling Jeeps. It's clean and well laid out. Nice outside deck with views of the hills nearby. This was our second time staying here, and probably not our last”

“Lovely time at this clean and well kept home near Greenwood Lake in Bethel. An easy 20-25 minute drive to Sunday River, this home is well-stocked, comfortable, and remote offering a little downtime after a full day on the slopes. Teenaged boys enjoyed hot tub and ping pong table. Kitchen was clean, bedrooms comfortable, and utensils and cooking appliance / surfaces all worked well. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend it to anyone.”

“I own a home in the area but it was rented, so I booked the Yurt via VRBO. My friend and I loved the location and the yurt accommodations. It was such a cool experience to stay there and I would definitely stay there again!! The owners really put thought into the details and it showed!”

“We loved the dome! It was so unique and at the same time, a lot of fun! There was plenty of cookware, the bedding was super nice, the wood stove was so warm and created such a nice atmosphere, and the decor and design of the dome made for such a wonderful and comfortable stay! We traveled with two teenagers, a 12 year old, parents and a set of grandparents- and each of us loved the dome! The pin ball machine was a huge hit for all of us! We also loved playing ping pong and the indoor soccer……

“Peter and Jane are terrific hosts of a beautiful spot on the lake. We did all the things. We hiked Mt. Blue to the top. We peddled the boat out onto the lake. We watched the sunrise and sunset on the screened in porch. We made fires and roasted marshmallows. We had a terrifically beautiful family vacation at this perfect little cottage on the lake.”

“We only had a very brief stay, alas, but made the most of the opportunity as best we could. A few updates are needed with the introductory welcome materials and equipment information that will be easy but useful to correct. Glad we had a chance to pause in western Maine, with a view of close mountains and the distant Presidential Range in NH. A couple of kitchen tweaks will be helpful for our cooking happy selves, though we enjoyed the spacious kitchen with adequate equipment, beautiful place……
