We had a great time! The scenery was beautiful and the cabin was clean and comfortable. My only "complaint", if you can call it that, is that the cabins could have been a little further apart and at a different angle. When someone is coming out next to yours they can see the patio area and potentially inside. Not a dealbreaker as we will definitely go back again.

Cabin was beautiful! The view was so pretty! We felt like we were going into an enchanted forest with all the solar lights lighting the pathway. We loved the fire pit at night time:) only issue we really had was when taking a shower, the hot water would go in and out. But other than that, the place was perfect for our weekend getaway!

Above expectations
The unit was very clean and comfortable. It was very fun to stay 20 yards free m the river. It is about 15 minutes off the highway but worth it. We are planning a trip back with friends. The owners own a hotel and steak house on the gulf coast and their hotel experience shows in the cleanliness and professionalism. The house on stilts was so fun with a great outdoor deck with gas fireplace and a good kitchen.

Everything was great! Just a short stay for my daughter’s graduation from Southern Miss, but we loved it! It was very quiet and peaceful, clean, and the check-in process was simple. We will be back to stay a bit longer in the near future.

Beautiful place for a restful time away! Although it's a bit off the beaten path it's well worth the little trip. The unit I initially was assigned to didn't have hot water but after a couple of calls I was moved to another unit. Definitely would recommend this place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a peaceful stay with all the amenities.

This was just as advertised. It is secluded yet close to the town. It has great facilities along with walking trails and a beautiful river flowing beside it. We only spent one night, but will definitely return.

We enjoyed the walking trails. We booked this property because it was Off The Grid but the second night we were there cabin beside us had a get together, which inferiored with our peaceful time, the owner did not offer any kind of compensation.

We came from Iowa to spend time with our grandkids. We stayed 5 nights and stayed in one cabin with two of our granddaughters and rented another one for our daughter and other two grandchildren. Dave and Nikki were very pleasant and accommodating. They directed us on fun activities on the property and off as well. Everything was clean and we were provided with absolutely everything we needed promptly. AND when I say promptly I mean immediately! It was so cool seeing the wildlife and my granddaughters absolutely loved getting into the river. I couldn't believe there was a laundry facility that didn't cost anything to use. I was surprised to find there was eco friendly laundry detergent available without charge as well. My daughter who lives 20 minutes away said they would love to go back just for a weekend away. If you want to have fun definitely take advantage of the trails. I really didn't expect to have as much fun as we did. It was quality time with our grandkids that I will never forget. Thanks to Dave and Nikki for giving us a lasting family memory!

My trip was a family reunion i was pleasantly surprised with the accomodations. They very nice, though a little dirty inside, and very cobwebby outside. Overall, it was very nice with a little cleaning

I have to say it was one of the best and most enjoyable places I have ever stayed. It was so clean and nicely furnished. The location was so peaceful and pleasant. It is deep in the woods and takes a few minutes longer than you imagine to get to the cabins but was so worth the drive. I would give it 11stars!

We were assigned cabin 9. The web showed a great view of the river but cabin 9 has no view. Just trees and underbrush. The porch cushions were stained and covered in debris from the trees. During the night we were awakened by water dripping from the a/c vent. It had covered the floor and wet our suitcase full of clothes (no closet) we had placed near by. We cleaned it up and turned the unit off. Ran the living room unit on a cooler setting to try and make up for the loss of the bedroom unit. Unfortunately at 3am it decides to turn itself off! Woke up sweating! I finally got it going again and things cooled off. This morning got in the shower and the water ran cold after a few minutes. I turned the shower off for a minute, then back on. It got hot again only to run cold a second time. I did the same thing again and it worked correctly for the rest of the shower. I called the customer service number to report these issues and was thanked for calling but not offered any further comp. It wasn’t necessary but I would have be a nice gesture. Even with the a/c issues and shower problems, the most disappointing problem was the way the view was misrepresented. Cabin 9 should be discounted because all the other units look great. I’m sorry for the rant. Guess I’m just sleepy. It was a long night.

Wonderful stay!! Upon arrival, we took a wrong turn, our porch was a little dirty, but it was beautiful on the inside. The kids had an amazing time and the private beach was cool.

Excellent does not describe the value, accommodations, and most importantly the communication with the staff. The cabin was unbelievable, view of the river just from the balcony. Clearly marked nature trails. I felt like I was in an upscale resort on Possum Kingdom Lake in north, Texas, which is saying a lot. Well thought out design and positioning my little ones loved the loft. Just top notch 100%. Short easy 15 minute drive from civilization, Walmart, etc. etc
