「Check in was easy. Room lovely great new bathroom nice tiles bed comfortable. Breakfast was extra at £6.75 but worth it. New landlords have done a great job updating the George, looking forward to our next visit. Great centre location exploring Kinder Scout and Twenty Trees.」

「Basic but clean room with a decent shower located in a quiet, safe area. Parking is limited directly on-site but the hotel staff are helpful in pointing you in the right direction to park as close as possible, so it’s not an issue.」

The property has so much fascinating history and the current owners have gone thru great lengths to keep it all in the best conditions. We loved the breakfast with a great choice.
