"Room was great—very cute and super clean with a very comfy bed. But I especially appreciated the ability to easily book online late at night and immediately get a room and access code so that I could rest after a very long day of traveling and being too tired to make it to my destination that night. Only regret was that my schedule didn’t allow me to stay longer. "

"This location could not have been better for us - our only complaint is that we had to leave! It's called Beaver Pond, but down here in Virginia it would definitely be called a lake. We really enjoyed the easy access to the kayaks and canoe, saw a beaver, fished and caught small mouth bass, yellow perch, and even a pickerel! There are no more cabins past us at that end of the lake, so it felt like we had the serenity to ourselves. The cabin was very accommodating and clean, and after being there for 5 days we still kept discovering fascinating eclectic decor and artifacts on display that we hadn't noticed before. We were visiting our daughter, who is a student at Word of Life Bible Institute, which was about a 16-minute drive away. FYI, our cell phone service didn't work well enough to make calls on its own, but we were able to do wifi calling using the cabin's wifi, which was reliable. We would love to stay here again."
