“While looking at vacation rentals for McAllen, I was very impressed with the price for the size of this place. It was an easy check-in and the place was immaculate. The host also responded rather quickly to my messages. I would recommend this spot to others and would definitely stay here again.”

“The Blue Sofa won us over @ the time of booking a VRBO & it didn’t disappoint. My family enjoyed relaxing & watching movies on it. The large, full size kitchen was Nice to cook in. Things we liked: Clear instructions & directions w/ pictures on how to get in and to the condo. Great & Quick Communication w/ Owner. Large & Unique table for playing Mexican train (Dominoes). Washer/Dryer & Detergent to do Laundry. CLEAN & Beautifully decorated. I felt Safe & Secure @ the property. Extremely close to……

“Check it was easy. Very big, open spaces for being a single bedroom condo. They had multiple sleeping arrangements, even though we used the main bed. Had enough cooking utensils to make anything we wanted. I did wish the TVs were bigger, maybe that's just a personal gripe but still being that we stayed in a lot it was something I noticed. The price compared to hotels near the area was unbeaten. And even though it was down the street from the College and a elementary school, it was very quiet……

“I stayed at this property for twelve days, and I was sorry to leave! The condo was very comfortable and had a lot of amenities and accommodations that made my stay enjoyable. It was very clean, and the host takes great care in making it feel welcoming and homey. The neighborhood was very quiet, and so were the neighbors. The parking space is very close to the front door, and the check-in and -out process is easy. Velma is very responsive to messages, and she checked in on me a couple of times……

“The overall stay was great. Very clean and neat. The area worked perfectly as it was so nice and close to where we had business to take care of.”

“Overall was just okay. My mom has limited mobility. As unit is located in center of courtyard, it proved a challenge going in and out. Walk in shower in second bathroom was non-functional, again not an ideal situation for my mom. Bedding, linens and towels need replacing . While they were clean, they were rather worn out. Front door also needs new lock set , as current one is faulty. For the price, location and overall stay, it was a good value.”
