The Neighborhood:
Chestnut Street is a major historic street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was originally named Wynne Street because Thomas Wynne's home was there. William Penn renamed it Chestnut Street in 1684. It runs east–west from the Delaware River waterfront in downtown Philadelphia through Center City and West Philadelphia. The road crosses the Schuylkill River on the Chestnut Street Bridge. It serves as eastbound Pennsylvania Route 3 between 63rd and 38th Streets.

Perfect spot

This was such a beautiful, clean, comfortable spot to stay in Philly. Super close walking to stores and restaurants. Each doorman remembered my name. I felt safe and secure. Would totally stay here again.

Good communication

Easy check in and communication with owners. Location is perfect for shopping and restaurants. Can walk to Chinatown and Reading terminal and UPenn area. Couches and beds aren’t as comfortable but were fine. Kitchen had everything we needed. Dim lighting overall.

Great Hosts!

From the easy check in process to the quick responses, this host was exceptional. I was even able to phone them late at night upon my arrival, and they picked up immediately and helped confirm my late arrival. The AC was working, and the apartment had everything that we needed. The neighborhood has suffered set backs during Covid and there were constantly homeless people on the street throughout the block.

Great location & experience!

The owners communicated quickly and were able to provide helpful information related to the check-in/out processes, parking, etc. The check-in process was incredibly smooth and easy! The condo is within a 10 min walk from the nearby Megabus drop off and Amtrak locations; within 10 mins walking distance to nearby trails and parks; and there were plenty of restaurants, bars, and stores on the same block. Note that there is a TV in the living room, but it didn't seem as though it easily connected to cable or any streaming services. This wasn't a deal breaker since we rarely were in the home. Additionally, there was no way of knowing how the unit would look, since they own multiple in the building, but they are transparent about this, so that wasn't a deal breaker either. Overall, I would definitely book with them again!

Good location. Responsive management

Nice place in a good location. Short walks to food, restaurants, transportation, and activities. Issues with some kitchen items were addressed promptly and satisfactorily. Would stay again.

The apartment had a very nice kitchen. Everything else--the furniture, lights, bedding, etc. was cheap. The pillows were the absolute worst. They were like inflated beach balls--no give to them. Impossible to sleep on. I had to use a spare bedspread as a pillow. The sheets were polyester--made us sweaty and uncomfortable. It was cramped and not relaxing. Very disappointed. It kind of ruined our trip.

Great location, great apartment!

The apartment was perfectly located in the City Center and was very attractive, clean and well appointed. Check-in was very easy since everything we needed to know was clearly communicated to us before we arrived. We were within walking distance of many restaurants as well as markets and stores.
