I’ve stayed at this hotel two years in a row, took a break after a bad experience, and returned this year hoping things had improved. We booked over 8 rooms as a group — and deeply regret it.
There was a 9-hour power outage, during which guests were locked out of their rooms for hours. When I approached the front desk about compensation, I was rudely told it wasn’t the hotel’s responsibility — even though other guests confirmed they were credited for the night. Completely inconsistent and unacceptable.
On another night, there was a violent domestic disturbance that went on for hours. Police had to be called. Despite reporting it right away, hotel staff offered no support, no safety communication, and no follow-up. Zero accountability for the safety and comfort of guests.
Given the size of our group, we expected better. Instead, we were dismissed and treated as though we were an inconvenience. This hotel does not value guest experience or group loyalty.
The only positives were the housekeeping staff, who worked incredibly hard and were always kind, and Latoya at the front desk, who was professional and helpful — a stark contrast to the rest of the management team.
We won’t be returning. If you’re planning a group stay, think twice
