“What a gem! We loved our stay at Mendo Bungalow. It’s charming, quiet, super clean & comfortable. The managers go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. Chairs on the lawn with a fantastic view, s’mores kits, water bottles in the room. Every thoughtful detail—so nice to settle in for the night in a place like this. Also very close to Mendocino—4 minute drive to restaurants, stores, coastal walks, etc. ”

“The Lighthouse is a wonderful home in Sea Ranch with a great location. Over the years, we have stayed in multiple different houses and while the Lighthouse is not the largest or most luxurious, it was the perfect home for our family. Plenty of space with 2 bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms, and a great loft space upstairs which my daughter promptly claimed as her own! The location is unbeatable within walking distance to both Shell Beach and Walk On Beach with some great tide pooling……

“We really enjoyed our first visit to Shalimere! The home is very relaxing with gorgeous views of the ocean. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck and the hot tub is situated in a wonderful location where you can take in the amazing views. Took a nice walk on Irish beach and it was very clean and such a quiet and beautiful scenic private beach. The home is very dog friendly and our senior dog was comfy and happy. There aren’t many restaurant options in Point Arena and they close early but……

“Surfood Getaway was perfectly located minutes from downtown Mendocino and close to lots of hiking. The house was clean and decorated well. Lots of parking and 4 rooms for a big family. We enjoyed cooking and watching movies on the big screen TV. Kitchen items need an upgrade. There's only one frying pan and it is well used and icky. Only one hot mitt that is so thin you burn your hands pulling things from the oven. No cutting board. Neighbors dogs are almost always outside and they bark……

“The pictures don't quite do it justice. The house is that nice. And that little walk down of the Beach that they say is 5 minutes might be too short for how beautiful it is. Owner/manager was very good with communication. This place is awesome”

“The house and location are excellent, quite comfortable and well equipped with easy acces to wonderful beaches. The house host is EXTREMELY considerate and polite. My ONLY negative, which is no hindrance to a return visit, and accounts for the 4 star rating on "accuracy of online listing" is that the accompanying photograph suggests an on-the-bluff location and view for this "ocean view home". Such a view does not exist from this home. A more accurate photograph is recommended. G.S.”

“The property was more remote than we anticipated. If you are looking for a true getaway, this is your spot. The local Elk grocery & mercantile store clerks were wonderful and full of ideas to fill our time. We took a trip to Mendocino and Fort Bragg along the beautiful coast. The house was so cozy, clean & charming. We will for sure return”
