“Crashing waves, location, location, location!! Relaxing, private studio cottage with gorgeous views. This visit we used the induction/hot plate for cooking breakfast. It was easy to use and provided another meal option which allowed for a romantic morning on the deck. Dan and Laura are gracious hosts with welcoming brandy and a special bottle of champagne in celebration of my husband’s 75th birthday ! Cypress Cove is magical and pet friendly too. “This property is along a road/driveway that has a few more houses - great for multiple groups that want to be close but not share the same house. There is beautiful hiking directly off the property and it's close to all the things we wanted to do. The owner was also super gracious - a freak storm hit the area and all the power went out (including WiFi) and roads were shut down (rare) - he helped us from afar by texting regular updates and helping us navigate our way home (w/o gps). “The forest suite is a perfect spot to getaway from typical vacation accommodations. It is a very short drive to Mendocino, yet tucked away in the forest. The suite has everything you need and even some of the stuff you didn't think of, but your host did. Jennifer is very responsive and has created a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy.”

“This home is stunning and exceeded our expectations. Views are amazing from the home and the walk to the cliff is perhaps 2 minutes and the beach just a few minutes more. The area is serene and at most you see a few joggers or a couple other people hiking. The office was a perfect place to take a few morning calls before a lovely breakfast on the beach. We didn’t cook a full meal (we picked up chowder and crab sandwiches in Bodega Bay to bring up with us), but the kitchen was well appointed……

“Great location and loved being so close to town. The hot tub was super clean and so relaxing. While the fireplaces are not usable, the home has a GREAT heating system that made the home so comfortable even when cold and/or rainy outside. Loved having one of the master suites on the ground floor so there were no stairs to climb. Only stairs necessary were two from the ground floor to the living/dining area. Only disappointment was that the greatest window to use to watch the ocean waves seems to……
