「Fantastic hotel with large, clean rooms, a good breakfast, and a beautifully illuminated swimming pool. The staff were very helpful, especially the receptionist/manager who seemed to be working there 24 hours a day. 😉 Cons: the gym was poorly equipped. We were also sent to La Plantation pepper factory, which felt like a tourist trap — daylight robbery in white gloves. A terrible place. I recommend choosing other plantations run by local farmers rather than French colonial-style businesses.」

There were bikes you could ride from your room to the very large pool area, We took kayaks down the small river behind the resort and it was like a jungle river trip with huge trees and lush forest all around. 「Clean and modern, Kampot is so small almost anywhere is convenient. My only warning is a lack of power outlets near the desk. After changing rooms and providing an extension cord this was easily solved, but initially I was told to string a cord across the first room (right across the entrance), which would have also eliminated the solo outlet for the refrigerator. Glad they worked with me」
