This is my favorite resort. I stay here for four weeks twice a year and I love how clean and quiet it is. It’s not a party town like Patong, but still plenty of bars and nightlife. The property has a nail salon and massage shop where they do amazing Thai massage. The breakfast buffet is good, but it’s not as good since they opened the new building. Not bad, they just don’t have the variety the used to & there’s no more omelette station. I’d say if your room doesn’t come with breakfast, you might wanna save the 400thb and go get a cheaper breakfast next to Tops. Room service is pretty decent. I’m hoping The Sands will start serving spicy glass noodle salad. I like very spicy food, but they don’t do much spicy. They just give you packets. The whole staff is so nice. It’s my favorite part about the resort. I love the gardeners, housekeepers, front desk, room service/bellhops, etc. Literally everyone is so friendly. There’s one cool kid pool with one of those bucket-dumping things & other water activities, plus three pools for adults (kids also welcome), one has a bar with happy hour in the afternoon. It’s really an amazing place and fingers crossed prices don’t go up as more construction is going on with more condos to be taking over. And hopefully NaiYang stays quiet and clean.
